Emmerdale fans ‘work out' Belle's new love interest after Tom King ordeal

Metro19-06-2025
Emmerdale fans have been pondering over who Belle Dingle's (Eden Taylor-Draper) new love interest might be.
The beloved character is currently enjoying single life after a horrific ordeal involving Tom King (James Chase).
When Tom and Belle got together, it wasn't long until we started to see signs of controlling behaviour from him. At first, Tom's actions were small, but he then became hellbent on isolating Belle from her entire family.
Over the next year, Tom was responsible for installing security cameras in the house, tracking Belle's every movement, physically and mentally abusing her, as well as pretending her dog Piper had died in an attempt to get close to her again.
Belle eventually reported Tom and he was sent to prison for three years.
In February of this year, Belle decided she would begin divorce proceedings, but it meant visiting Tom in prison.
Fortunately, strong-willed Belle was able to stand up to Tom and ignore his attempts at getting inside her head. Since then, Belle has worked hard on her healing journey, and has even started running Take a Vow in the wake of Leyla and Suzy's deaths.
Busy running a business, Belle is showing no signs of dipping her toe back into the world of romance at the moment, but could that all change soon?
Taking to social media platform X, many fans of the ITV soap believe that Belle and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) could be perfect for each other.

Another noted: 'Can Dawn run off with Joe and Billy and Belle become a couple #Emmerdale'.
Billy is single following the breakdown in his marriage to Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley).
She was having an affair with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) behind Billy's back, and eventually decided that she wanted to be with Joe instead of him.
Could a new romance be exactly what Belle and Billy need?

She began to release mixtapes that caught the attention of music heavyweights as her following began to grow. However, it wasn't until 2015 when she gained mainstream recognition with her Queen's Speech freestyles. The tracks were a unique look on UK rap music and often featured comedic phrases and humorous lines and saw Leshurr rack up tens of millions of views. The fourth instalment of the franchise became her biggest hit after going viral within 24 hours of its release and it saw the star land a major record deal with Sony Music. She went on to release her first official single with Wiley which became an instant hit and she soon picked up the MOBO Award for Best Female Act and toured with Nicki Minaj. The BBC then hand-picked her to host her own music show on BBC Radio 1Xtra presenting on Saturday afternoons as well as choosing her to be a music mentor on its latest talent show Rock Till We Drop alongside Spandau Ballet legend, Martin Kemp. Desperate for a piece of the action, ITV booked the star to take part in Dancing on Ice and soon handed her a spot on the Loose Women panel. Star Arrested 9 The star was led away by cops after being accused of an early house assault Whilst she appeared to have every dream gig under the sun, and with the promise of brand new music on the way, Lady Leshurr found her world and career turned upside down when she was arrested for assault. In October 2022, the rapper and songwriter was seen being led away by cops in handcuffs at 5am following a fight outside a house in Walthamstow, East London. Witnesses said neighbours were woken up by a 'a screaming match' between Lady Leshurr and two other women. Cops said a 27-year-old woman was found with injuries but did not need hospital treatment. Video footage released at the time showed the rapper, dressed in a white sports bra and wearing a baseball cap, being put in cuffs and led to a police van by two cops. She was charged a day later on two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Trial Hell 9 The star lost out on all career opportunities during her trial Credit: BBC A court went on to be told how Lady Leshurr had been accused of attacking her ex-partner Sidnee Hussein as well as Chante Boyea. However, a judge later cleared her and found her not guilty on two counts of assault. She told the court Chante had attacked her first before instructing her her Belgian Malinois security dog Toby as a "weapon" to injure her. Following the conclusion of the trial, the star spoke out on Instagram to confirm she had not made a single penny since being dropped from every work obligation she had been signed up to do. She said: "For the past year I've been battling a court case from people that accused me of stalking, harassing, and biting them but I was the victim. "I was attacked and bitten by a dog and made out to be the aggressor." She also stressed she felt her career had been "ruined regardless of the outcome". SAS Return 9 She is now hoping to prove herself on SAS Credit: Pete Dadds / Channel 4 Almost two years on from the judge's ruling, the star is now making a comeback on Channel 4's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. Discussing why she signed up for the show, she said: 'I think this course is not only going to make me become the best version of myself, but it's going to make me the strongest I've ever been. "It's going to make me realise so much about myself that I've kept in. It's going to push, motivate and inspire me. It's really going to make or break me. "But regardless, it's going to teach me a lesson about myself that I can definitely work on.' 'Doing this course is going to make me regain my strength, my understanding, who I am as a person and just unpack all the trauma that is on my chest… "I'm hoping to leave this course feeling empowered, feeling the strongest I've ever felt, a beast. I want to walk into the gym the next day, like I own this place.'

Jack Osbourne reflects on childhood with dad Ozzy in first TV appearance since his death

Cooking with the Stars contestant Jack Osbourne spoke about his late dad Ozzy Osbourne on the first episode of the new series, which aired earlier tonight on ITV The late Ozzy Osbourne was mentioned by his son Jack Osbourne during a TV appearance that aired tonight. He spoke about his late father whilst competing on Cooking with the Stars. ‌ Jack is among the celebrity contestants on the new series of the ITV show. He competed in the first episode, which aired this evening, just over a week after it was announced that Ozzy had died, aged 76. ‌ Speaking about his experience with food growing up, he told host Emma Willis whilst making risotto on the show: "There was a lot of Birdseye Potato Waffles." Following surprise from the presenter, he added: "Because I was here until I was 12 and then we went to America [and] it was all take out." ‌ He continued: "We'd go through bouts of having a chef but everyone's such ... very picky eaters so chefs don't usually last long in our house. Because all of a sudden my dad's like 'no, I don't like it anymore' even though it's like some amazing chef." ‌ Last week, Jack and some of his family announced that musician Ozzy had died, just weeks after he performed in a farewell gig alongside his band Black Sabbath. David Attenborough fans left facing ‘nightmares' after spider sequence

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video For most people, just the thought of a cluster of spiders crawling on top of each other within a large, entangling web is enough to send a shiver down your spine. But for David Attenborough and his latest series Parenthood, which explores the trials and tribulations of parenting within the animal kingdom, clearly, that's not enough. The 99-year-old natural historian seems to be intent on showcasing one of the most nightmarish sequences possible as a 1,000-strong pack of young African social spiders can be seen eating their mothers. Captured by TV cameras in a never-before-seen moment, the premier episode of the series saw the spiders prey in a game of 'grandmother's footsteps' where they freeze in unison like musical statues before eating their elderly relatives. Attenborough explained 'demands of parenthood are finally taking their toll' on the mothers who offered their body as a 'gift' to their offspring before they departed. The atmospheric music, toe-curling sound effects and Attenborough's iconic voice combined to create the painstaking moment. 'Unsurprisingly, the moment left many viewers in complete shock. Oh my GOD they eat their Mum then all their relatives. It just confirms what I have always know spiders are EVIL,' Viki posted on X. 'These spiderlings are nightmare fuel,' Melanie shared. 'A lioness, a giraffe,a hippo & a gang of cannibal spiders, it's been a bit of a blood bath in tonight's #Parenthood I can hardly watch,' Neil added. Series producer and director Jeff Wilson described it as 'probably one of the best' sequences he had worked on in 30 years of film-making. '[I've] never heard Sir David deliver a sequence as good as that… it sort of brings a lump to your throat… he's the master at delivery,' he told the Guardian. 'It makes one feel quite sort of chilled to the bone that you know that your own young could do that. It's an extraordinary behaviour [but] when you step away from it and from the horror of it, it sort of makes sense.' He added that Attenborough was both 'delighted and horrified' by the groundbreaking footage. Joking, he also said that 'there will not be a parent of the land who won't turn up to school pickup without snacks ever again'. This comes after Metro exclusively shared a spectacularly tender moment from Parenthood between a female western lowland gorilla and her newborn baby. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The snoozing baby gorilla is in a state of peaceful relaxation while lying on his mother's chest, his eyes closed as the forest hums gently around them. The five-part series Parenthood promises to show viewers never-before-seen animal behaviours while delivering a 'universal message about preserving the natural world.' More Trending Speaking to The Mirror, BBC head of specialist factual commissioning, Jack Bootle, described Parenthood as 'wonderful, warm, engaging, and surprising'. He said that it is 'made by some of the very best wildlife filmmakers in the world,' adding: 'I'm thrilled Sir David is joining us again to narrate it.' Parenthood is streaming on BBC iPlayer.
