Freddie Freeman's bloop single in 11th starts winning rally as Dodgers beat Giants 5-2
Spencer Bivens (2-3) intentionally walked Shohei Ohtani to start the 11th and retired Mookie Betts and Will Smith before Freeman delivered with a ball that dropped between three Giants.

The defending World Series champion Dodgers (58-39) entered the All-Star break atop the NL West after finishing the first half with nine straight games against clubs with winning records.

On Monday, Bleacher Report released its list of the "top 100 NBA players ever," based on a compilation of rankings from a "legion of B/R NBA experts, writers and editors." Shaq's beef was with the placement of his former Lakers teammate, the late Kobe Bryant, who landed outside of the top 10. He left his comment a little more than an hour after the original Bleacher Report post went live. Here are the 10 players ranked ahead of Bryant, in order from the top: Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Bill Russell, O'Neal, Tim Duncan, Larry Bird, Wilt Chamberlain and Stephen Curry. Why isn't Aaron Judge participating in the 2025 Home Run Derby?
Aaron Judge isn't leading MLB in home runs at the All-Star break -- trivia question: Who does? That would be Cal Raleigh, who is in the field -- but he is second in the majors at 35 homers. So: why isn't he in the 2025 Home Run Derby, set to start on Monday night at Truist Field in Atlanta? We actually have an answer from Judge himself here, when he was asked about it earlier this season. Remember, he's been in it -- 2017 -- once and that's it. Back in June, he said to Newsday, "Nope. Same answer. Only if I'm talking about it here." "Here" would be New York. As in, if the Derby is at Yankee Stadium, he'd do it. But otherwise, he's happy not to mess with what's working and staying fresh for the regular season and a pursuit of a ring. So while we won't see Judge in this year's Derby, we can take a moment to relive the 2017 event that he won: There you have it. No Judge, but plenty of other great names are in this year.
