The Summer I Turned Pretty returns on Thursday, with the final season set to debut on Prime Video and finally wrap up an agonising three-year wait to discover which Fisher brother will win Belly's heart.
To celebrate the deserving brother, we've compiled a list of the top ten best moments between Belly and Conrad throughout the seasons, and even ranked them.

Sorry, Jeremiah Fisher, fans. This is a Conrad appreciation space, but please feel free to enjoy the list below of all their best moments, and remind yourself why he and Belly should end up together at the end of this season (and why you should switch allegiances.)
Top 10 Belly and Conrad Moments in The Summer I Turned Pretty
10. Belly and Conrad's First Meeting to "Lover"
Jenny Han let us know where Belly's heart lies from episode one, introducing the chemistry between Belly and Conrad with a swoonworthy moment in front of the Cousins beach house to Taylor Swift's "Lover". The short and sweet interaction saw the two lock eyes, with a playful back and forth, setting the tone for what was to come.
9. This Is 100% Your Look, Connie Baby
Of course, the iconic meme was going to make its way into the list. While it's a brilliant line delivery from Lola Tung, it also shows the softer side to Belly and Conrad's relationship, as Belly apologizes for everything that happened between them at Susannah's funeral.
8. Conrad and Belly's Debutante Dance
Here we have another Taylor Swift moment as Conrad sees Belly left alone in the middle of the dance floor at the debutante dance. He comes to the rescue (as he always does) and joins Belly for the dance.
7. Conrad Apologizes
Season two, episode seven saw Belly and Conrad come face to face in a moment after the party, where Conrad apologizes to Belly for the way he handled their break-up. Conrad confesses that he is scared Belly will regret what happened between them, and Belly assures him that it would never be the case. It's a sad but sweet moment, and it shows the two of them at their best: when they're communicating.
6. Sour Patch Kids
From sweet Conrad to petty Conrad. We know this Fisher brother is a softy, but he also has a little spice, and this scene shows it off perfectly. On a rainy drive, Conrad's already being a petty queen from the backseat, but he amps up the heat at the gas station by taking a swing at Jeremiah's choice of sweet treat for Belly.
5. The Infinity Necklace
Back to sweet Conrad. In this scene, Belly gets a text from Conrad to meet him outside where he's waiting to give her back the infinity necklace he bought for her. It's a tearjerker of a scene, but Conrad confides in Belly that he doesn't want to lose her... but is it too late?
4. "You Have a Crush on Me?"
In a rare moment where Belly and Conrad are together and happy, they're wandering through the woods, giddy and excited to be in one another's company. However, the moment is momentarily quietened by Belly admitting that Jeremiah and she had kissed after he told her he had feelings for her. However, Belly and Conrad navigate the moment with grace, excited to be together in this new chapter.
3. First Kiss
Season one, episode seven gave us the first Belly and Conrad kiss. We waited a whole season for it, but it was worth the wait.
2. The Fireplace
Once again soundtracked by Taylor Swift, we see Belly and Conrad spend an intimate night together in Cousins. After dancing in the snow on the beach, they return to the house to warm up, and we see them tell one another how they feel and take a huge step in their relationship.
1. "I Thought You Knew"
Okay, perhaps the fireplace scene really should be up here at number one, but the most memorable and well-quoted scene takes the top spot. After throwing a party at the house, Conrad finds Belly drunk on the beach, and they get into an argument. It's one of the most raw and real scenes between the two, where a million unspoken feelings tumble out, ending with Taylor Swift's "Snow On The Beach".
The Summer I Turned Pretty season three debuts on Prime Video with episodes one and two on July 16, 2025.

Cat Owner Bakes Chocolate Chip Cookies, but There's an Obvious Problem

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A feline's hilarious attempt to sabotage her owner's freshly baked cookies has gone viral, leaving internet users in hysterics. Cat owner Megan Amanda, 28, was preparing for a family event earlier in July by whipping up some chocolate chip cookies and lemon bars for the guests. If that wasn't enough, she was also trying to watch reality show The Bachelor by going in and out of the kitchen when she could. After taking the first batch of cookies out of the oven, Amanda, from Illinois, left them on the counter to cool. She told Newsweek that they were out for "probably three to five minutes" while she went into the other room to watch the rose ceremony on the television show. But, when Amanda returned to the kitchen, her freshly baked delights didn't look so perfect after all. Indeed, her cat Luna appeared to have taken it upon herself to test one of the cookies by stepping on it, leaving a perfect paw print. "She obviously didn't vacate the scene of the crime and try to implicate her two other cat siblings and managed to look insanely guilty in the video," she continued. Although Amanda didn't see Luna sabotage the cookie, she wasn't entirely surprised by her antics. She jokes that the dog is "a notorious counter surfer," the owner is constantly having to remove her from the kitchen surfaces. "She's definitely speedy as it had to have happened in the three to five minutes I was out of the room," Amanda continued. The bemused cat owner couldn't resist sharing Luna's mischief on TikTok (@ with a video showing the paw print in one of the cookies. The clip has left internet users in stitches, going viral with over 3.8 million views and almost 600,000 likes on TikTok at the time of writing. Alongside the clip, the caption jokes: "Any guesses on who's the culprit?" Amanda said she thought it was a funny moment to capture, but she had no idea it would generate quite this much attention on social media. Of course, many people jumped to Luna's defense, while others suggested that Amanda should have kept the incriminating cookie in resin to cherish it. Unfortunately, the owner tried to freeze the cookie and it crumbled, so it wound up in the trash ultimately. Amanda said that this is "one of [her] biggest regrets" because the resin idea would have been so funny. Amanda continued: "I thought the idea was funny, but never in my wildest dreams did I expect this response. RIP my notifications. I have been posting on my TikTok for a few years now, and this is the first time something like this has happened to me. It's such a cool and surreal moment." Internet users can't get enough of Luna's artwork, leading to more than 2,200 comments on the viral TikTok post so far. One comment reads: "she wanted to make her mark." Another TikTok user wrote: "Must've been the oven." A third person posted: "let's call that quality control." One comment read: "He knew you forgot to a dash of beans." Pokemon Presents July 2025 – Where to Watch and What to Expect

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors After February's Pokémon Presents gave us a lot of exciting new information on the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A, we've got another streaming coming this week that will hopefully enlighten us to even more stuff coming for both that game and whatever might be next. You can watch the stream on the official Pokémon YouTube channel, though beware, it's set to go live pretty early in the US, so you'll have to set those alarms if you don't want to miss it. If you don't fancy getting up for it, though, then don't worry, as it will be available to watch as a video on the channel immediately afterwards. When Does the Pokémon Presents Stream Start? The Pokémon Company While we don't have official confirmation on anything, there are a few things that have been teased and we can reasonably expect to see. First of all, we know the stream is going to be an estimated 24 minutes long, which is about average for these things. No doubt it will be frontloaded with details on upcoming updates for various mobile games like Pokémon Sleep and Pokémon Cafe. It's also likely we'll see the announcement of the next Pokémon TCG Pocket set, which we'll be sure to cover as soon as we find out about it. Over the past couple of weeks, the Pokémon social media accounts have also been teasing something strange, with Pikachu working at a DJ deck. Exactly what this could be about, we don't know, but whether it's some sort of Pokémon rhythm game or a music channel, we're highly likely to find out during this stream. Of course, the biggest headline will be more information on Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the next mainline game in the series, set to launch on Switch and Switch 2 on October 16, 2025, though we don't know what new details will be unveiled. As for the reveal of whatever mainline title will follow Z-A in 2026, we doubt we'll hear about that in this stream. That said, it's not impossible, the Pokémon Company International has revealed new games before the launch of a current one before, but we believe that if the highly-anticipated Generation 10 games or anything of that nature are going to be revealed this year, it won't be here.

Woman Finds 2 'Nervous' Street Dogs—Adopts One but Knows Someone Is Missing

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A Swiftie who attended the Eras Tour knew it would be a memorable night, but she never could have imagined just how it would change her life, and the lives of two street dogs she met along the way. Brooke Morosca, of Orlando, Florida, traveled to New Orleans in October 2024 to attend Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. But the surprises started before she even got to the concert, friendship bracelets in tow, as she spotted a dog lying in the street. Morosca, 24, got out of the car to get a better look, telling Newsweek that the yellow Labrador had no collar and was covered in fleas. There weren't any signs of a home nearby, so she wasn't sure where the canine came from. "The dog came walking up to me with her tail wagging," Morosca said. "As she did that, a small black dog came running out of the bushes. He was also covered in fleas and looked extremely malnourished." From left: Brooke Morosca pets Crumpet; and Rhysand stands outside in Louisiana. @brookemorosca / TikTok It melted Morosca's heart to meet the two "nervous" dogs. As she walked toward the Airbnb to figure out a plan, she was stunned to see them follow her. The animals didn't want to leave her side, and she felt an instant connection. Morosca and her friends stayed at the Airbnb for four nights, and their two guests were with them throughout. "We gave them food and water, and I called my sister to pick up more supplies on their way. One of her friends worked at a shelter so she bought stuff and was even able to clip their nails," Morosca continued. As wonderful as their company was during the trip, Morosca knew she was heading home and needed a long-term solution. She couldn't just leave and let them return to the streets. Morosca bonded with both dogs, and she could sense that they "just wanted love." She felt connected with the black dog, fitting since that is a Taylor Swift song title, and before she left New Orleans, she knew he was meant to be her pet. "I was able to get the black dog to warm up to me and trust me to pet him, which was so rewarding," she said. Morosca contacted a local shelter to hold both dogs. It broke her heart to say goodbye, and she would have given anything to take them both. She made a promise to come back for them when she was permitted—a promise she intended to keep. Both dogs had to undergo a three-day owner reclaim period. Shelter staff told Morosca that they recognized the duo, and they had been trying to take the owner to court for custody. If the owner didn't turn up in those three days, then the dogs would be available for adoption. Morosca called every day for updates, but, on the third day, their owner appeared. This elongated the process somewhat, and Morosca felt immense guilt that the dogs were in the shelter for a lot longer than intended. Nonetheless, she refused to lose hope. Four months later, she was told that the black dog, now called Rhysand, was available for adoption. However, the yellow Labrador had been returned to the owner. "What followed was a ton of mixed emotions," Morosca said. "Joy and gratitude that I was able to rescue him and give him a better life, but also sadness that she was in the exact same situation I tried to help her out of. And she was now doing it alone. I never stopped thinking about her and held on to hope that, somehow, I could help her." From left: Brooke Morosca hugs Rhysand the rescue dog. From left: Brooke Morosca hugs Rhysand the rescue dog. @brookemorosca / TikTok As happy as Rhysand seemed in his forever home, it was clear that he was missing something—or someone. Several weeks later, Morosca felt an urge to check the shelter's website on a whim. By some miracle, the yellow Labrador was the top listing, and she knew exactly what to do next. Morosca drove back to Louisiana to rescue her, and she was brought to tears when she finally reunited the dogs. The yellow Labrador, named Crumpet, is staying with a friend as she has heartworm so needs to recover. Morosca isn't certain if she will be able to keep Crumpet forever, as it is a big financial commitment to keep two dogs. However, if she does have to rehome her, it will be to one of her close friends, and the dogs will enjoy regular playdates. "I can't express how happy I am knowing that they are both healthy and they're finally going to have the lives they deserve," Morosca said. She shared the incredible rescue story on TikTok (@brookemorosca) and the post went viral, with over 7.9 million views and more than 1.4 million likes at the time of writing. The online response is beyond anything she anticipated, and Morosca hopes their story will inspire others to help an animal in need, too. With almost 3,500 comments on the viral TikTok post, social-media users hailed Morosca for allowing Rhysand and Crumpet to start their new eras. One comment reads: "A true 'you belong with me' moment." Another TikTok user wrote: "Omg you're the best for this. They are literally Sunshine and Midnight Rain." A third person replied: "Eras Tour literally saving lives." Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share? We want to see the best ones!
