Myleene Klass reveals she saved a stranger's life at Brighton Pride on first shift with St John's Ambulance

MYLEENE Klass helped save a festival-goer's life at Brighton Pride over the weekend.
The musician turned presenter, 47, was volunteering for St John's Ambulance when a man became critically ill during the headline set by Sugababes at Preston Park.

She took to her Instagram stories to reveal what happened
Myleene, who recently showed off her amazing body in a bikini, was part of a first response unit and was asked to perform a 'jaw thrust' movement to help clear the patient's airways.
The technique involves lifting the lower jaw forward, displacing the tongue and soft tissues away from the back of the throat.
Sharing her story on Instagram, Myleene said: "You can probably hear the Sugababes are on in the background and I've just helped save a life.
"It was honestly awe inspiring seeing how St John Ambulance operated. We have doctors and paramedics. Everyone is here. Everyone just did their bit."

She added: "I cannot divulge what happened with the patient, what the circumstances are but what I can say is I am utterly blown away and just to have been a small part of it as well.
"I actually just had to do the procedure that is known as a jaw thrust - that gives you an indication as to how serious the scenario was. The patient is on their way to hospital right now.'
Myleene became St John Ambulance's first celebrity ambassador in 2024. Prior to that she had worked with the charity on and off since 2021.
Myleene says she is keen to lead from the frontline. The star said: "At Brighton Pride today I was asked by many, Why? Why are you doing this?

'My answer, because I can and I have little eyes watching me.I am the official SJA ambassador not just in name but in action. I tell my children daily, a person is who they show you they are, not who they say they are. Walk the walk.'
Myleene's act of heroism comes after she claimed her ex cheated on her with a celebrity on her birthday.

While appearing on Married At First Sight star Paul C Brunson's podcast, We Need To Talk, she revealed: 'I walked in on him with a famous person on my birthday on a balcony. It was in my house.
'It was my party. They weren't having sex, but they were unzipping each other.

'[They said] 'It's not what you think', but it is what I think. It's the first thing they both said.
'I kicked everybody out of the party, including his mum and dad. They went back to Ireland.
'And his dad said, 'He doesn't get it from me'. I was like, 'OK'. I just remember that being quite a weird thing to say.'
Myleene, who received an honour from the King, admitted she struggled to see the woman continuing as normal after the run-in, explaining: 'I've made peace with that situation now.

'But for a long time, it was very difficult to see their life . . . Not that I would wish that on a family. I don't know, I feel conflicted.
'But my life literally just broke apart very, very publicly.
'And their life, they've managed to continue building a family brand on it and it felt so difficult for a long time. This is the person I caught him with.'
The I'm A Celebrity icon met Graham when she was in Hear'Say and he was working as part of the band's security team.

Despite the incident, she went on to marry him. They had two children, Ava and Hero, during their 12-year relationship, but were granted a divorce in 2013.
Myleene is also now a mum to her son Apollo, who she shares with fiancé Simon Motson, after they got engaged in 2020.
