Celeb Big Brother's Ella Rae Wise reveals truth of dating life admitting 'It's hard'
TOWIE star and Celebrity Big Brother 2025 housemate Ella Rae Wise has opened up about her love life post-Dan Edgar - and let's just say, she's not exactly short of attention… even if she's not jumping at it.
'Babe, the DMs don't stop - but I don't really want to open them!' Ella laughed in an exclusive chat. 'It's hard to know people's true intentions when you're in the public eye. I need someone genuine, especially with what I do - even filming with exes.'
Ella, 24, rose to fame on The Only Way is Essex, quickly becoming a fan favourite thanks to her glam style, sharp tongue and no-nonsense attitude. Since her romance with fellow TOWIE castmate Dan Edgar ended, she's been focusing on herself - and it shows.

Dan and Ella began dating in early 2024 but broke up at the beginning of this year. A few days after entering Big Brother, Ella touched upon her relationship with Dan, who is a decade her senior, and said she gave up trying to change him.
'I was bullied at school, and it used to dull my sparkle,' she admits. 'But now, I've turned that pain into power. Young me would be proud.'
The self-proclaimed 'loaf of bread flirt queen' is all about her post-breakup glow-up. 'Take time for you. Know your worth. Don't just serial date,' she advises, possibly hinting at past mistakes.
And speaking of Dan... eagle-eyed fans clocked Love Island bombshell Angel, who briefly dated Dan before entering the villa, as the latest woman linked to Ella's ex. Talk about a small world! But Ella's unbothered. She's got bigger things in her sights - Strictly, Bake Off, Stand Up To Cancer - and yes, Celebs Go Dating is firmly on her radar.
'I'd thrive in that kind of situation,' she laughs. 'Like I said in my Big Brother VT - I could flirt with a loaf of bread!' Angelique 'Angel' Swift became one of the new entrants to ITV's long-running dating show this week.
The 26-year-old blonde bombshell immediately turned heads when she entered the villa and seemed to hit it off with the 2025 contestants. However, it seems Angel may be shielding a damaged heart, as it has been claimed she had been entering a romance with a reality star before she jetted to Majorca .
A report has revealed that Angel had struck up the beginnings of a romance with Dan Edgar - who reality show fans will recognise from Towie.
Dan and Angel reportedly got close. However, it seems the romance did not pan out as Angel is now starring on Love Island and looking for romance.
Conversely, a friend of Dan told the outlet: "It was just one date really, and it was after he split from Ella. Dan was very much single at the time."
And on the topic of Dan, Ella is currently filming with her ex and as the cast went away for filming for 10 days. The pair had to reunite as they lived in the same hotel. Speaking about the latest series and filming, Ella promises the 'drama' is back.
She said: 'The last few series focused more on love and friendships. I felt we lost a bit of the original TOWIE drama, but series 6 is bringing it back — OG style.'
The series will return later this year.

Love Island chaos as three couples split days before final in explosive recoupling
Love Island has been rocked by a surprise recoupling involving three couples, following fallout from the explosive Grafties ceremony and the unexpected return of former Islanders Megan and Blu In a surprising twist today, Love Island 's villa has reportedly witnessed a dramatic recoupling, with three couples deciding to reshuffle their couples in a tense firepit confrontation. The unexpected move has sent shockwaves through the show and promises to leave viewers stunned when the episode is set to air on Sunday night. The new pairings remain a huge secret, but sources suggest the upheaval stems directly from the fallout of the recent explosive Grafties ceremony, which left the villa divided after secret chats between the islanders were laid bare on a huge cinema screen. A villa insider revealed: 'It's fair to say the fallout of the Grafties has had major repercussions. No one would've seen this recoupling coming a week ago." The source added to The Sun: "Usually Love Island gets a little predictable in the final days but this lot are still moving mad.' The show is now racing toward its finale, scheduled for Monday, August 4, which is just ten days away. The grande finale will follow a week of heightened drama and conflict among the remaining islanders after Shakira revealed her harbouring feelings for Harry. Elsewhere, tonight's episode will delve into the tension lingering after the dramatic Grafties ceremony. Harry finds himself under fire from several of his fellow villa boys who question his behavior toward Helena and Shakira. Harry's controversial comments which were dramatically revealed during the ceremony have not gone unnoticed and tonight, viewers will finally see him held accountable for his actions and words as his fellow islanders call out his bad behaviour. Conor confronts Harry in the Den and challenging his motives, he says: 'Is it just the thing of, you want what you can't have? You know by flirting with her [Shakira] what you're doing, you're prodding her, what is that for?' Meanwhile, Helena faces Harry in a dramatic showdown at the Firepit, calling him out over his flirtations and inappropriate remarks about newcomer Angel and several other girls in the villa. Just two days prior, Harry had asked Helena to go 'exclusive' after the islanders were treated to a festival-themed party where none other than Tinie Tempah performed for them. However, just 24 hours after asking to close things off with Helena, Harry was seen flirting with Shakira again. Amidst the turmoil, the villa also saw the unexpected return of OG Islanders Megan and Blu after both of them were dumped earlier in the series. Dublin-born Megan faced immense backlash after dumping Tommy for Conor and was voted the least favorite girl, while Blu was voted out following a tense contest with bombshell Shea. After the boys couldn't decide who to keep, the remaining Islanders voted Blu off once again as his second chance was brutally shattered.

Coronation Street legend disowns own brother after discovering huge deceit
Coronation Street's Kevin Webster disowned his brother Carl Webster as various truths began to come out on Friday's episode of the ITV soap about each of their lies Coronation Street's Kevin Webster disowned his brother Carl as various truths began to come out on Friday's episode. The legendary character, who has been played by Michael Le Vell on ITV's flagship soap since 1983, was dealt a surprise earlier this year when his long-lost brother Carl (Jonathan Howard) arrived in Weatherfield, and has since employed him in his garage. The mechanic was diagnosed with testicular cancer some months ago and managed to beat the disease but amid suspicions that Carl is growing more and more attracted to his wife Abi (Sally Carman), he had decided to let everyone think he was still suffering. Amongst all of this, Carl has been using the garage to do some dodgy deals with Fiona Morley (Sara Poyzer), and the pair were discussing their plot to steal a £30,000 car whilst they tried to stand away from prying eyes in the ginnel. He warned her that the chance to take it was 'now or never' and she soon snuck into the unlocked garage, took the car and sped off. But unfortunately for them, Kevin had overheard the entire conversation when he came out of number 13, and watched on as the con woman drove off. Kevin chased after the her, but struggled to catch his breath and had to stop. He was seen by Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) and the Rovers barmaid insisted on taking him off to hospital, unaware that he is lying about his cancer diagnosis. Carl rushed to see Kevin in the hospital, where the pair ended up having a confrontation as various truths began to come out. Kevin began to tell Carl that he felt 'like an idiot' and told his brother to 'drop the act' when he pretended to be exasperated at the news that a car had been stolen. When Kevin accused Carl of lying to him, Carl knew exactly how to hit back. Just before entering Kevin's room, Carl had asked the doctor if his sudden deterioration had anything to do with his chemotherapy, to which the doctor had informed him that such treatment had finished 'weeks ago'. Having worked out that Kevin had lied to him and everyone else, Carl asked Kevin how he could possibly lie about having cancer, he tried to insist that he did it to save his marriage. Viewers will remember that Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) previously rumbled Kevin's secret, having been familiar with how treatment works thanks to his daughter Hope's own battle several years ago. Abi believes that Kevin 'isn't responding' to the treatment, and when she tried to discuss the idea that Jack (Kyran Bowes) needed to be told more about his dad's condition, he tried to throw her off the subject. And in one final scene, Carl arrived at Kevin's house to try to have it out with him but was warned to 'make it quick'. Carl protested that Abi deserved to know about Kevin's condition, but the mechanic insisted that his brother will become part of the lie and go along with it because he has the power to 'shop' him at any time. In making things absolutely clear, Kevin told Carl: "I felt like I should've done more, being the older one, made you feel like you belonged. I could've done something about it, but I was too wrapped up in my own world. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for freeing me from all that guilt. Part of me started to believe that you didn't exist. Now I can go back to that. You are dead to me. Never had, never will." Fans of ITV's flagship soap opera will know that Kevin was right to have his suspicions when it came to Carl and Abi, and that the pair are set to give into temptation and embark on an affair. In the days before Kevin's brother arrived on the cobbles, he was famously married to Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) and they had daughters Rosie (Helen Flanagan) and Sophie (Brooke Vincent) together. They initially split up when Kevin had an an affair with Natalie Barnes (Denise Welch) but they remarried in 2002. Their marriage survived numerous infidelities on both sides, but ultimately crumbled when Kevin fathered Jack with Molly Dobbs (Vicky Binns) before she died in the 2010 tram crash as part of the programme's 50th anniversary. Carl is the son of Kevin's dad Bill Webster (Peter Armitage) and his second wife Elaine (Judy Gridley) and spent most of his life in Germany with his parents until he arrived on the Manchester backstreet earlier this year. In real life, Jonathan spent 10 years in LA and working alongside big-name stars including Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins, but the 38-year-old actor ranks landing a part in Corrie among his greatest achievements. He told The Mirror: "Being in Coronation Street is just as big a thrill as being in a Hollywood film or an American TV series. It's all the same, everyone's telling stories, whether it's a big $200m movie or a soap like Corrie. As a Lancashire lad born and raised, the dream was to be in Coronation Street – that was the ceiling, so it feels wonderfully surreal to now be acting with people like Kevin Webster that I watched religiously as a kid. My friends ask me, 'what you have been up to today?' and I reply 'I took Tracy Barlow for a drink in the Rovers Return!' It's just incredible to say these things."

Britain's Got Talent judge quits panel as huge star 'in talks' to take over iconic gig
A Britain's Got Talent judge has reportedly sensationally quit the iconic ITV talent show. Bruno Tonioli has reportedly decided to step away from the show after just two series on the judging panel. It has been reported that newcomer KSI is the star who is in talks to become Bruno's permanent replacement. Rumours had circulated that the Italian TV personality may find it impossible to film the next series of the show with his commitment to filming Dancing with the Stars in America - with both reportedly taking place this autumn. However, Bruno has now officially quit the ITV show, according to insiders. Bruno, 69, joined the judging panel in 2023 following David Walliams ' departure. He quickly became a fan favourite as he joined Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon on the iconic panel. Despite Simon's efforts to keep him on the show, Bruno's ongoing commitments to Dancing With The Stars has reportedly now made it impossible for him to continue on the show. A show insider confirmed the news to The Sun, as they stated: 'Bruno has officially quit Britain's Got Talent and they are hoping that KSI will replace him. "He absolutely loved being on the panel with Simon, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden but Bruno just can't juggle his schedule with filming. There is no bad blood and Bruno is leaving with a smile on his face.' Earlier this week, rumours had circulated about Bruno quitting the show as a source said: "The filming schedule in 2024 meant that Bruno could get away with not being present for filming one week of auditions. "But it would be virtually impossible for him to miss two weeks, because in the final edit, that equates to half the episodes in the new three-month run of BGT, which will air from February of 2026." They added that there is "absolutely no ill feeling about the situation" and that it is purely down to difficult schedules. The Mirror understands that conversations around this year's BGT line-up are still underway. Rapper and internet personality KSI is currently tipped to replace Bruno if he leaves, with the rapper having filled in for the ex Strictly star on a number of occasions in the last series. He proved to be a massive hit with viewers when he joined the panel for BGT's Blackpool auditions and went on to appear at the live semi-finals. Meanwhile, comedian Alan Carr is also reportedly in the running, having previously revealed that he was originally in talks to take over from David Walliams. Back in 2023, the long-standing friend of Amanda Holden revealed that the show had told him that he would be joining BGT before later confirming that Bruno had landed the role. "I don't really know what went on. It was that awful thing of people saying I was devastated. I was on the set of my sitcom, which I wrote and I'm producing, so I was not devastated about not being on BGT," he said. He added that he later saw Simon Cowell at a party held by Amanda Holden and joked about missing out on the judging role, to which Simon replied: "That's showbizness." The Mirror has approached a Britain's Got Talent spokesperson for comment on this story.
