Naidu alone can eradicate poverty: Vemireddy
He participated in a programme at SR Sankaran Hall at the Collectorate here on Monday, where CM Naidu virtually inaugurated Swarnandhra vision offices in all 175 constituencies. Later speaking to reporters, Vemireddy said that as part of the initiative in eradicating poverty, Naidu has introduced P-4 concept. He detailed that to implement Swarnandhra 2047 Vision effectively, which has framed with 10 principles, the government proposed to establish one office with nine members to coordinate with MLAs in their respective constituencies.
Analysing that at present aqua culture is most profitable in Nellore district, the MP opined that if P-4 concept is linked with aqua culture, there will be a possibility of securing excellent results.
Joint Collector K Karthik, DRO Udaya Baskar Rao, Chief Planning Officer Raghuramaiah and others were present.

Vijayawada: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed the formation of two committees, advisory and executive, for the effective implementation of P-4 policy which has been launched to fight poverty. Naidu chaired the first general body meeting of the P-4 Foundation on Friday after its formation. It was also decided to form P-4 chapters at the district and constituency levels. Addressing public representatives and district and mandal level officials who participated in the meeting through video conference, Naidu said the P-4 scheme aims to reduce disparities between the rich and the poor in society. "The state govt has set an ambitious target of achieving zero poverty, and has set a target of connecting 15 lakh poor families with one lakh guides. There needs to be more clarity on the role of guides, as it is not just about giving money to the poor but also empowering them," he explained. Clarifying that poor families who receive support from their guides will not be denied any welfare programs, Naidu said P-4 program is independent of the welfare schemes currently being implemented. "Spending money is not enough to eradicate poverty. If money were the only criterion, much was spent in the last 75 years," he said. The CM also launched a logo for P-4 scheme, which represents the goals of the state govt.

Fishermen reiterate opposition to deep-sea hydrocarbon project at grievance meeting
The monthly grievances redress meeting for fishermen, held at the Collectorate on Friday, once again witnessed strong opposition to the proposed hydrocarbon project off the Kanniyakumari coast. During the meeting, the fishermen expressed their condemnation for the deep sea project. They said that bids had already been invited for the project, without conducting any public hearing regarding its implementation. They pointed out that the project envisages exploration at three sites along the Kanniyakumari coast, which would affect the coral reefs and livelihood of the local fishing community. Kanniyakumari District Collector R. Alagumeena, who chaired the meeting said that the district administration has not received any official information regarding the proposed project. At the meeting various petitions were submitted by fishermen. These included the distribution of kerosene at subsidised rate and calls to verify the authenticity of boats currently availing subsidy. Additional petitions were raised seeking the construction of new groyne at Rajakamangalam Thurai, Arockiapuram, Kovalam, Manakudi, Keezha Manakudi and Periyakadu. Many petitions were also submitted regarding the pattas for tsunami houses, extension of bus service to coastal villages and construction of new roads in coastal areas. They also urged the district administration to ensure compensation for the fishermen affected by sunken cargo vessel MSC Elsa 3 and to provide details of the container locations to ensure the safety at sea. In response Ms. Alagumeena said that annual inspections are being carried out and only eligible boats are provided kerosene at subsidised rates. She also informed that DPR has been prepared for the construction of new groynes at the coastal villages including Periyakadu and Keezhamanakudi. Regarding the sunken vessel, she stated that fishermen would be alerted with the locations of the container to ensure their safety. Padmanabhapuram Sub Collector Vinay Kumar Meena, Deputy Director of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare Chinnakuppan and other officials were present at the meeting.

Issue 21 lakh new pattadar passbooks in first phase from August, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu tells Revenue officials
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said that 21.86 lakh new pattadar passbooks will be issued in the first phase from August and regularisation of unobjectionable government lands completed by the end of 2025. Addressing a review meeting on the Revenue Department on Friday, Mr. Naidu ordered that due priority be accorded to solving the problems that arose during the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) regime. Besides, the re-survey should be completed by the end of 2027, he added. Mr. Naidu said 17,600 revenue grievance meetings had been organised after the coalition government was formed, and of the 1.85 lakh petitions received, 1,84,332 were resolved. Out of 1.93 lakh auto-mutation applications, 1.77 lakh were processed, and a special drive was underway to resolve the pending ones. GoM meet on July 9 The Chief Minister told the officials to explain the legal complications in land matters to the affected parties so that amicable settlements could be reached. The Group of Ministers (GoM) would meet on July 9 to discuss the regularisation of freehold lands in order to reach a final resolution by October 2025. Mr. Naidu instructed the officials to bring out a new Revenue Manual, comprising all policies and by August, and that QR codes should be printed on the pattadar passbooks. Pictures of former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy that had been embossed on 77.90 lakh survey stones were removed. Having completed it, steps should be taken to issue new passbooks, he said. The Chief Minister asked the officials to issue succession certificates in respect of inherited lands and delegate the required powers to the officers concerned in the ward / village secretariats. If the value of such lands was up to ₹10 lakh, a sum of ₹100 should be paid to obtain the said certificate, and ₹1,000 if the value exceeded ₹10 lakh. House sites for journalists He also instructed the officials to look into the issue of sanction of house sites to journalists by duly complying with the relevant Supreme Court judgment. As on date, 99,390 applications were received for house sites, which required an allotment of 2,051 acres under the Housing-for-All scheme. As per the manifesto, two cents should be acquired per beneficiary in towns and three cents in villages. The grievances received at the revenue meetings should be audited by private teams, he said, and asked the officials to retain the surveyors in the ward / village secretariats until the re-survey was completed. The exercise to repeal the A.P. Non-Agricultural Lands Assessment Act must be completed and a report submitted to the Cabinet at the earliest, the Chief Minister said. Mr. Naidu suggested that the Revenue Department provide a visual interface on the land portal so that ownership and boundary details would be displayed clearly. This would enable the potential buyers and sellers to verify information without much hassle. Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad and Chief Commissioner of Land Administration G. Jayalakshmi were among other officials present.
