Huge Emmerdale episodes on the way as cast told to prepare for night shoots

Daily Mirror2 days ago

Emmerdale's Natalie J Robb and Mike Parr teased some massive scenes on the way in the coming months, with cast on the ITV soap told to prepare for 'a lot of night shoots'
There's huge scenes guaranteed on Emmerdale in the coming months, with one star teasing multiple night shoots have been advised.
As the ITV soap prepares to film the big crossover with Coronation Street, set to air early 2026, cast members are about to find out who is involved and what happens. With filming and planning taking place months in advance, cast members on both soaps are soon to learn which characters will feature in the epic soap twist.

Plenty of stars from both soaps are desperate to be involved, all hoping their characters will be present in the milestone episodes. While only one episode will feature the crossover, the impact will be felt for the entire week and then some.

As the plans are finalised, cast members will soon prepare to film the big scenes and the storylines surrounding them. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Emmerdale's Moira Dingle actress Natalie J Robb shared her hopes to take part.
Not only that, but she confirmed that huge episodes were guaranteed, as there were "a lot of night shoots" planned. With night shoots often come dramatic and blockbuster scenes.
We do know there will be a massive stunt, so it's likely this is why the night filming has been agreed. Cast members will have to prepare for the big scenes, with Natalie hinting at what's ahead.
She told us: "It is really exciting. It is the first time it has ever been done I think the audience will like it. We have to trust the writers. There is gonna be a lot night shoots."
Natalie went on: "We don't know any of the stories or what characters are involved just yet, but I'm hoping to be part of it." Ross Barton actor Mike Parr then pointed out that some Emmerdale and Corrie actors have done both soaps.

Referencing his co-star Oliver Farnworth who plays villain John Sugden, he joked about whether the Corrie characters would recognise him, or if John was still Oliver's Corrie character Andy. He said: "Is he still that character in that one or did he die?
"There's so much room for what could happen and the ways it can go. I am so glad it's happening and everyone wants to be involved, but not everyone can be. It's exciting times but nobody knows anything yet."
It comes as the pair also teased "danger" on the way following next week's arrival of new villain Ray. Mike said of actor Joe's casting: "I grew up watching that guy. One of my friends were also up for the part and I wanted to support him, but when I found out Joe had got it I knew he would be good. It's good, it's exciting."
Natalie also had her say, before hinting that Moira's brother Mackenzie could be at risk. She told us: "He is good. It's all in the eyes. He's very menacing and very scary. There is going to be a lot of danger, but it's good. It's shaken it up a bit."

Traitors star Harry Clark is tipped as next King of the Jungle, as the former Army helicopter engineer sets his sights on I'm a Celeb

He scooped £95,000 after brilliantly but ruthlessly betraying his best friend in the second series of The Traitors. Now Harry Clark has his sights set on another reality TV prize – being crowned I'm A Celebrity 's King of the Jungle. The former Army helicopter engineer is being tipped to join the line-up of this year's ITV show, where he might feel at home among the venomous critters of the Australian rainforest, given that he admitted his treachery on Claudia Winkleman 's BBC programme made him something of a 'snake'. Asked if he was going to be in this year's cohort, the master of misdirection would only say: 'Who knows? I might be but I wouldn't be able to say if I was.' But the 24-year-old told The Mail on Sunday: 'I do like all the snakes and spiders and stuff – I would be really good in the jungle.' If he did go down under, he would be following in the footsteps of a long list of reality stars, including Made in Chelsea 's Georgia Toffolo and Sam Thompson and X Factor's Stacey Solomon – all of whom went on to win the show. With Clark's masterful playing of The Traitors making him a viewers' favourite, he would be a frontrunner to take the title too. Nearly 7 million people watched him land the Traitors prize in 2024, after hoodwinking Mollie Pearce into thinking they were both 'Faithfuls' about to split the prize money. The model, 23, did not do too badly from being stabbed in the back by her closest friend on the show, as it led to her own appearance on another ITV reality show, Dancing On Ice. She later forgave him for his double-crossing. In the past year, Clark has quit his Army job to become a media personality, presenting segments of the BBC's One Show and appearing in shows such as Pilgrimage. His popularity among viewers has made him attractive to brands and he makes the £31,000 he used to earn in the Army every year in two months pushing products on Instagram and TikTok. Despite his riches, Clark still lives with his mother, an NHS nurse, and his father, a baggage handler at Heathrow, and his five siblings in a council house in Slough. He paid off his parents' small debts with the Traitors' prize money and invested the remainder in a high-interest investment account. He said: 'I also took everyone, seven of us, on holiday to Portugal. My family hadn't been away since 2010. 'It was probably the first moment after the show that I patted myself on the back.'

Britain's Got Talent star's cause of death confirmed after sad death

Dancer Chantel Bellew was a contestant on Britain's Got Talent in 2019 where she delighted the judges and audiences with her uplifting routines. She passed away in March this year aged 34. The cause of death of Britain's Got Talent star Chantel Bellew has been revealed three months after her sudden death. The late dancer passed away in March at the age of 34. Chantel found fame as a dancer who auditioned for season 13 of ITV's Britain's Got Talent in 2019 when she was 28 at the time. While on the show, she delighted hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly with her cheeky dance routines. ‌ After wowing in her audition, she advanced to the quarter finals - however, that season was ultimately won by singer Colin Thackery. In March it was revealed that Chantel had died after being rushed to hospital just weeks after her 34th birthday. Following an inquest into her death at Bolton Coroners' Court, it has been ruled that she took her own life and her death was ruled as suicide. ‌ The Manchester Evening News reported the cause of her death on Saturday. They quoted Chantel's mother, Jill Dawson described her as a "beautiful daughter" and "model student". It was noted that the inquest was told Chantel suffered with mental health problems for "quite some time". Assistant coroner John Pollard is quoted explaining that the tap dance star was in a "loving relationship" with wife Genna Timewell, but added: "Despite this she remained to some extent unsettled and unsure of herself." Her final moments were also documented during the hearing and it was reported she overdosed on painkillers on 17 March. The hearing was told that Gemma returned home at approximately 2pm and assumed no one was at home. The inquest heard that Gemma felt something "wasn't right" and that she was "really worried". She called her father-in-law, who said Chantel was not with him. She then texted Chantel who replied stating: "I'm good, I'm grand." Gemma then suggested they go to Wales for the weekend to "get away" and "leave it all behind". ‌ The inquest then heard how Gemma heard a noise in the attic and then saw Chantel "stumbling down the stairs" and "walking very unsteadily and looking disorientated". After calling 999 and being told it would be 40 minutes for an ambulance, Gemma drove Chantel to hospital - tragically she died over a week later on 22 March. Chantel's loved ones later set up a fundraising page to cover the cost of her funeral, writing: "It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Chantel, as we navigate through this incredibly difficult time, we want to honour her life and the beautiful impact she had on everyone who knew her." ‌ The statement on GoFundMe continued: "Chantel was more than a daughter, wife, sister, niece, cousin and friend. She was a kind, loving, and passionate spirit who brought joy and laughter to so many. "Chantel was a talent second to none who was the life and soul of every party, I am sure you will agree she was a character that nobody will ever forget. As Chantel´s friends, we would like to help the family give Chantel the showbiz farewell she deserves." As well as performing on BGT, Chantel worked in a supermarket before becoming a teaching assistant.
