And Madhumita, when we used to sit on the readings of this film, we used to do our workshops, rehearsals...most of it was already on paper. You just had to say the lines honestly. She used to handle the rest.
So, Madhumita should get the credit for this."
Bachchan gives credit to the director for taking care of minute details in filmmaking. "Madhumita is a very particular director. Although, this is her first Hindi film. She has done a lot of Tamil films before this.
But still, she pays attention to everything. And I think that is visible. From casting to production design, costume, dialogue, pronunciation, speech, everything. So, when your director pays attention to all these things, our work becomes very easy.

Kaantha trailer: Dulquer Salmaan, Samuthirakani head a tale of bruised egos between father-son. Watch

Kaantha trailer: The trailer for Selvaraj Selvamani's Dulquer Salmaan and Samuthirakani-starrer Kaantha was released on Monday. Dulquer, who celebrates his birthday today, July 28, and Samuthirakani play son and father in what looks like a retro tale of bruised egos. Kaantha trailer: The Tamil-Telugu bi-lingual is produced by Rana Daggubati and Dulquer Salmaan. Kaantha trailer The trailer for Kaantha begins with a studio announcing a horror film called Saantha, the first horror film being made in Tamil/Telugu. Set in 1950s Madras, Samuthirakani is shown as the director of the film, fondly called Ayya by everyone, who doesn't seem happy about the film's cast. Leading the film is his son, a superstar who was trained all his life by his father to be in films, and yet, something has gone wrong between them. Even as Dulquer tells a co-star that no one respects Ayya more than him, the feelings don't seem reciprocated. Ayya is quick to choke his son and throw chairs at him. But after he decides to make the female actor, played by Bhagyashri Borse, both the 'hero and heroine', Dulquer seems at wits' end, deciding to hit back. He even tells the studio that the film will now be called Kaantha, not Saantha. The trailer ends by hinting at a war of ego between father and son. The internet thought the trailer of Kaantha was 'superb' if reactions on X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube are anything to go by. 'Big fan of your gemini ganeshan role in Mahanati. Now this one also giving same vibes. Can't wait to experience this on screen,' commented one fan. 'more than expected. seems another banger loading,' wrote another. One person thought Kaantha was a 'sureshot hit' while a few others praised Dulquer for his script selection. About Kaantha Kaantha is written and directed by Selvaraj Selvamani and stars Dulquer, Samuthirakani and Bhagyashri as the leads. Jhanu Chanthar composed the music for the film, which will be released in theatres on 12 September. Rana Daggubati, Dulquer Salmaan, Prashanth Potluri and Jom Varghese produce the film under Spirit Media and Wayfarer Films.

Remember actress from Tere Naam who played role of a beggar? This is how she looks now, she works as...; Her name is...

Released in 2002, Tere Naam remains a milestone in Salman Khan's career. But tucked inside its emotional final act was a brief, gut-wrenching scene featuring a silent, beggar woman. That woman? Radhika Choudhary. She barely had screen time, but the weight of her presence left an unforgettable mark. Especially that last emotional exchange with Radhe (Salman), which many still remember. Where did she disappear after the film? While Radhika didn't chase Bollywood fame post-Tere Naam, her story quietly took a turn elsewhere. Though out of the limelight, she built her space in the South Indian film industry till 2004, and then took a 6-year break. What followed was unexpected: she moved to Los Angeles and reintroduced herself—not as an actress, but as a filmmaker. What made her an award-winning filmmaker? In 2010, she directed a short film titled Orange Blossom in LA, which explored the emotional complexity of a single mother navigating loneliness and misplaced trust. The film was shot in just four days and went on to win the Silver Ace Award at the Las Vegas Film Festival. Usha Kokate played the lead, alongside Jeff Doucette and John Paul Ouvrier. Did she ever return to mainstream cinema? Not in front of the camera. But in 2022, she took a significant step back into Hindi films as an executive producer for Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha. Quiet, but present. What is she doing now? Radhika, now known more in industry circles than among the masses, continues to work behind the scenes. She's active on Instagram, sharing slices of her current life. She's worked in multiple languages—Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada—and now, she's seen as a quiet powerhouse in the industry.
