Teddi Mellencamp and dad John get real about burial plans as she battles Stage 4 cancer
"Yesterday my dad calls 11 times in a row," Teddi said in the Tuesday episode of the "Two T's in a Pod" podcast. "Finally I answer — 'I'm in the bath! Let me live a little!'"

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alumna, who was diagnosed with melanoma in 2022, has been fighting a tougher cancer battle since doctors found plum-size tumors as well as smaller tumors in her brain and more tumors in her lungs in February. She had brain surgery, then two days later, they found an additional four small brain tumors. Her melanoma had progressed to Stage 4 and invaded her brain and lungs. The tumors had probably been there for six months to a year, she said.
"He goes, 'I just want to make sure you're going to be in our group family mausoleum,'" she said on the podcast.
"Wait wait wait wait wait," co-host Tamra Judge exclaimed. "He did not. John! No!"
But yeah, he did — John Mellencamp was actually weighing in on his daughter's funeral. So Teddi said she asked him, "Where would my kids go?" Not where would they visit her grave; she wanted to know where they would go in the mausoleum.

"He's like, 'Well, there's gonna be the top five. and then we're gonna have little areas around it and then that's where everyone's gonna get buried,'" she said. "And I go, 'Do I need to make this commitment right now?'"
His reply: "'Well, you're doing your will right now, so you might as well put it in there,'" she said.
Teddi Mellencamp said that's when she started making demands, like what would go on her tombstone — if tombstones even exist in mausoleums.
"I said, 'Somebody sent a quote to me the other day that seriously made me laugh so hard, I cried with laughter.' It's a person I barely know ... he goes, you wanna know the good news? He goes, 'Hot girls never die.'

"I was like, 'That's going on my tombstone.'"
She also talked to her rocker dad about her end-of-life wishes, which he wants to be in charge of. She said she was "willing to fight, fight, fight" but doesn't want to be "a vegetable." Her dad found some wiggle room in that decision, implying that "vegetable" status might leave room for discussion. She did not agree. "I'm like, 'What do you mean, like If I'm a cucumber?'"
"Either way," Teddi said, "I think I agreed to be in the mausoleum and I'm going to have to work on my sister next week. The kids'll be right behind me."
The family mausoleum is in Indiana, the source of the inspiration behind those "Pink Houses" that John Mellencamp made famous in the 1980s.

And working on her will is in line with what Teddi Mellencamp, who is getting radiation and immunotherapy, told Us Weekly earlier this month.
"A little PSA," she told the outlet. "Get life insurance early … and do your will. Doing all of those things once you've already been diagnosed with cancer isn't a dream. That's really hard. Hopefully you never get sick, but do it before you get sick."

Scheana Shay Had Awkward Encounters With John Mayer
Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay revealed what allegedly happened when she ran into her ex-boyfriend John Mayer last year, which was incredibly awkward. So, the reality TV star's memoir, My Good Side, is out, and she's sharing the details about her romances with rather popular celebrities. Talking with People, Scheana opened up about her romance with seven-time Grammy winner John Mayer in 2008. In her memoir, Scheana shared that she met John in 2008 while working at his birthday event, when he was dating Jennifer Aniston. Scheana claims they weren't exclusive and were casually dating for six months. In the book, she also revealed that her romance with John overlapped with her relationship with Eddie Cibrian, the ex-husband of fellow Bravolebrity Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville. Scheana said that her romance with John ended after one of her friends allegedly went to the tabloids about their relationship. An excerpt of the book reads, "Once it was public, he didn't want to speak to me or see me anymore," according to People. Scheana apparently ran into John recently and shared how awkward the whole situation was, and now I'm getting secondhand embarrassment. Sheana said she bumped into John at ChainFEST two years ago, a gourmet food chain festival in Los Angeles. "I saw him, and I awkwardly give him a hug, like, 'Hey, and then made a joke like, 'Oh, we should get a photo.' And he was like, 'No.' And I was like, 'I was kind of kidding.' But yeah, that was awkward," she told the publication. Scheana said she also ran into the "Waiting On the World to Change" singer again in 2024, but went about the encounter differently, yet it was still an awkward mess. "I didn't even go in for the hug," she remembered. "He went out for a handshake. I'm like, 'Well, this is awkward, too." Have you ever had a super awkward encounter with an ex? Denise Richards accuses Aaron Phypers of illegally leaking her nude photos
Denise Richards claims her estranged husband Aaron Phypers has 'repeatedly' violated her temporary restraining order against him by illegally leaking nude photos of her to media outlets, as well as texts he allegedly stole from her laptop. The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum, 54, has called on a court to ensure the return of her devices and photos by end of day Tuesday, according to a motion obtained by Us Weekly and TMZ. 'I am in extreme distress and greatly disturbed since Aaron has been repeatedly disseminating private text messages stolen from my laptop after the TRO has been issued and I have warned him numerous times not to disseminate any information from my cellphone or laptop,' Richards wrote in the filing. The 'Wild Things' actress said the alleged leaks not only qualify as 'abuse and a violation of the TRO,' but that 'the disseminating of nude photographs is a criminal act.' Richards, per TMZ, is asking that her ex be 'prohibited from using, delivering, copying, printing or disclosing any text messages, emails, photos, notes or other content' from any of her electronic devices. Phypers filed for divorce earlier this month following what he claims was a fight the couple had over Richards' alleged cheating. She was granted a temporary restraining order less than two weeks later amid accusations of longstanding abuse and death threats. Phypers has denied those allegations, which he claims are Richards' way of distracting from her alleged infidelity. He says he has only on certain occasions 'forcefully grabbed' Richards in attempt to restrain her, including once when she was allegedly 'punching' Sami Sheen, her 21-year-old daughter with ex-husband Charlie Sheen. Richards and the controversial 'Two and a Half Men' star, 59, also share daughter Lola, 20. She separately adopted 14-year-old daughter Eloise. Divorce documents, which say Richards and Phypers share 'no minor children,' seem to contradict his recent confirmation that he'd adopted the teen.
