While Ed Sheeran didn't specifically mention that being a girl dad is better than being a boy dad, he has his biases. Claiming that the 'energy' is different, Sheeran noticed that there is a stark difference and his friends, who have sons, live completely opposite to that of the musician's family.

Ed Sheeran Opens Up About Parenting Two Girls: ‘Energy Is Different'

Ed Sheeran's elder daughter, Lyra is 5 years old, while the younger one, Jupiter, is 2. Ed Sheeran is enjoying the success of his latest track, Sapphire, which he made in collaboration with Arijit Singh. The music video was shot in India and fans witnessed Ed Sheeran singing a Punjabi chorus as well. While his professional successes are known to all, the singer has mostly been quiet about his personal life. Ed Sheeran is a father to two girls – Lyra and Jupiter. The singer enjoys being a girl dad and opened up about his life as a parent in his latest podcast appearance. Ed Sheeran appeared on the Not Gonna Lie podcast with Kylie Kelce, where he was asked about being outnumbered by the girls in his house. He replied, 'I love it. Like, I really, really, really love it". He also recalled the time his first daughter was born and noted that he never had any preference. He said, 'I didn't really have any expectations…I think when you're having children, it wasn't like 'I want this or that' (shrugs shoulders). When we had our first daughter, it was like, I don't know, something just clicked and I was like 'I think I can have many, many, many daughters, and be so, so fulfilled and happy'." Ed Sheeran's elder daughter, Lyra is 5 years old while the younger one Jupitar is 2. The singer noted that he loves to see them interact with each other. Though he didn't explicitly state that being a girl dad was superior to being a boy dad. But Ed Sheeran believes that the vibe is totally different. He mentioned his friends who have two sons exactly the same age as his daughters. He said, 'My best mate has had two boys and they live opposite us, and…(pauses and smiles), there is a stark difference. And they're exactly the same age, we have the same ethos, and we hang out like all the time, but the energy is different." Ed married his long time girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn, in December 2018. In August 2020, the couple welcomed their eldest daughter, Lyra. Jupiter, the younger one, was born in May 2022. Ed Sheeran waits for wife's 'good mood' before playing new songs to her

Picture Credit: Facebook English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has a cardinal rule with regards to making his wife listen to new music. The singer waits until his wife is in a good mood before he plays his new music to her, reports 'Female First UK'. The 34-year-old singer, who has daughters Lyra, four, and Jupiter, two, with spouse Cherry, always looks to his family for feedback but admitted his childhood sweetheart can "kill" a song if she isn't instantly enthusiastic because he trusts her judgement. Asked if he asks his family for their opinions on his songs, he told Kylie Kelce on her 'Not Gonna Lie' podcast, "100 percent. Yeah, 100 percent. Cherry can kill a song. She can. I'm actually really careful to play her songs when she's in a good mood. Because if she's like, 'Eh', then in my mind, I'm like, 'Okay. That song's dead'. She's just got a very good taste and read on things. Like, even I would write, I'd say, three songs a day, five days a week. And I'll come home and I'll play them. And she can sift through that pretty easily". As per 'Female First UK', the singer recalled writing a number of songs on one particular day, including his 2021 single Bad Habits, and playing them back to Cherry. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 10人規模の家族葬、費用はどれくらい?( Tokyo 相場) 家族葬の費用 | 検索広告 続きを読む Undo He said, "I came home, I listened to them all in the car, and I was kind of excited about most of them. And I played them to her, and she was like, 'That one, that Bad Habits one, that's the one you should finish tomorrow'. She's got she's got a very good read on stuff". Ed also believes his daughters have a "good read" on his music too and they often "gravitate" towards the songs that are popular with his younger fan base when Cherry plays his records while he's away on tour.
