J-Hope's 2025 has been huge when it comes to scoring solo smashes. The BTS rapper has delivered multiple hits throughout the year, and all of them have become strong sellers in the United States, with three climbing especially high.
This week, J-Hope returns to the summit on the Digital Song Sales chart, and as he does, he breaks out of a tie with one of his bandmates and matches several others for a historic showing.
'Killin' It Girl' Debuts at No. 1
J-Hope's new single with rapper GloRilla, 'Killin' It Girl,' debuts at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart. The tune arrives with 18,350 pure purchases (according to Luminate), making it the only track to sell more than 10,000 copies in America this past frame, easily enough for it to lead the tally.
J-Hope's Third Solo No. 1
'Killin' It Girl' marks J-Hope's third No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart, and all three of those champions have arrived in 2025. Both 'Sweet Dreams,' a collaboration with Miguel, and 'Mona Lisa' also reached the top spot in just the past few months.
So far, J-Hope has collected 12 top 10 smashes in his solo career, including a trio of tunes that stalled in the runner-up position.
J-Hope Ties Suga and Jin
Before 'Killin' It Girl' arrived, J-Hope was matched with fellow BTS star RM, as both had dominated the Digital Song Sales ranking with a pair of cuts. Now, he has passed the South Korean boy band's leader and tied both Suga and Jin with three wins apiece. That trio of superstars now jointly claim the third-most No. 1s of all time among South Korean solo musicians on Billboard's song sales tally.
Looking only at soloists from South Korea, Jimin continues to rule, with six leaders on the Digital Song Sales chart. Jung Kook isn't far behind, with five champions. When groups are included, BTS easily dominates, as the band has conquered the list of the most purchased tracks in America on platforms like iTunes a dozen times.

Penélope Cruz Highlights Chanel's Textured Tailoring at the Brand's Fall 2025 Couture Show in Paris

An ambassador for Chanel since 2018, Penélope Cruz attended the fashion house's fall 2025 couture collection show during Paris Couture Week on Tuesday, wearing a look from the brand. The Oscar-winning actress donned a Chanel jacket, featuring a tailored silhouette with allover shimmering details intricately woven into the fabric. Cruz's outfit also included a black jacket with off-white trim and pearl detailing, along with sinuous cuffs and subtle pinstripe lines of sparkling details. The actress carried a Chanel quilted bag and wore a pair of black heels to complete her ensemble. The Villa d'Este hotel in Italy served as the backdrop for the collection's showcase, featuring designs that paid homage to the Romy Schneider wearing Gabrielle Chanel designs in his 1962 movie 'Boccaccio 70,' per Luisa Zargani's WWD review of the collection. Highlights from the collection included 'tweed miniskirts in a beautiful wisteria hue that matched the blooms on the terrace, for example, and short taffeta dresses in a peach or pink color with flounces and ruffles — although at times the frilly effect could have been toned down a bit,' Zargani added. The collection marked a turning point for the French luxury fashion house. Matthieu Blazy, who spent much of his formative years at Bottega Veneta, was named Chanel's creative director in December 2024. The designer's first collection for the label will be featured in October. As of last April, the designer is reportedly assembling his team. Ahead of the fall 2025 couture show, guests from Sofia Coppola to Cruz, Keira Knightley and more kicked off Paris Couture Week with the Bal d'Été at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs on Sunday in Paris. Cruz also wore a Chanel selection from the label's spring 2025 couture collection to the fete. Bayeux Tapestry to return to England for first time in more than 900 years

The Bayeux Tapestry, which depicts the 1066 Norman invasion and Battle Of Hastings, is to return to England for the first time in more than 900 years. The tapestry will arrive in the UK at the British Museum next year on loan from France. In return, the British Museum will loan the Sutton Hoo collection, the Lewis Chessmen and other items to France. Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy said: 'The Bayeux Tapestry is one of the most iconic pieces of art ever produced in the UK and I am delighted that we will be able to welcome it here in 2026. 'This loan is a symbol of our shared history with our friends in France, a relationship built over centuries and one that continues to endure. 'The British Museum is one of the world's most visited museums and is a fitting place to host this most treasured piece of our nation's history.' The 70-metre-long work, which is more than 900-years-old, depicts the battle which saw William The Conqueror take the English throne from Harold Godwinson and become the first Norman king of England. It is widely accepted to have been made in England during the 11th century and was likely to have been commissioned by Bishop Odo Of Bayeux. It has been on display in various locations across France during its history, including most recently at the Bayeux Museum in Normandy. French President Emmanuel Macron said the exchanges of 'extraordinary national treasures' would be officially announced at the British Museum on Wednesday. 'The times of William the Conqueror are over – happily,' he said in an address to UK parliamentarians. 'I think these mutual loans of these extraordinary national treasures will involve fascinating human exchanges, which will certainly be positive for our future in terms of culture,' Mr Macron said. Director of the British Museum Nicholas Cullinan said: 'The Bayeux Tapestry is one of the most important and unique cultural artefacts in the world, which illustrates the deep ties between Britain and France and has fascinated people across geographies and generations. 'It is hard to overstate the significance of this extraordinary opportunity of displaying it at the British Museum and we are profoundly grateful to everyone involved. 'This will be the first time the Bayeux Tapestry has been in the UK since it was made, almost 1,000-years-ago. 'We are also delighted to send the Lewis Chessmen, and some of our treasures from Sutton Hoo – the greatest archaeological discovery in Britain – to France in return. 'This is exactly the kind of international partnership that I want us to champion and take part in, sharing the best of our collection as widely as possible, and in return displaying global treasures never seen here before.' The Sutton Hoo treasures, discovered as part of a seventh century Anglo-Saxon ship burial in Suffolk in 1939, provide insight into England during the period before the Norman Conquest. Museums in Normandy will host the Sutton Hoo treasures while they are in France. Further details of the exhibition will be announced by the British Museum in due course, with the loan set to form part of a season of culture in 2027 celebrating the 1,000th anniversary of the birth of William The Conqueror, and the Grand Depart of the 2027 Tour de France from the UK. The tapestry will be displayed in the Sainsbury Exhibitions Gallery of the British Museum between September 2026 and July 2027.

NBA Star James Harden Responds to Fan Trolling After Paris Fashion Week

NBA Star James Harden Responds to Fan Trolling After Paris Fashion Week originally appeared on Parade. James Harden embraced a variety of off-court pursuits as the NBA offseason began. Among his recent activities, the LA Clippers standout made a striking appearance at Paris Fashion Week—this time not as a celebrity guest in the audience, but as a model confidently strutting down the runway. The 11-time NBA All-Star traded the hardwood floor for a fashion runway as he walked for Willy Chavarria's Spring/Summer 2026 show. The Mexican-American designer not only showcased his designs but also had a special collaboration with sneaker giant Adidas, which made Clippers shooting guard the perfect headliner for the show. In a sportswear-centric section of the fashion show, the 2018 NBA Most Valuable Player showcased his signature dapper aura in a jersey-inspired T-shirt and baggy cargo shorts. Harden's runway look exuded a major street-style vibe, sporting the new Adidas model, mid-calf socks and a paisley bandana worn under a black cap. Adding a touch of mystery and swagger to his confident strut, he completed the outfit with dark sunglasses. Unfortunately, his runway appearance didn't sit well with fans, with some pointing out his stiff walk and lack of typical model poise. 'It's a Paris Fashion Week runway and James Harden is here walking like an Optimus bot,' a user shared on X. 'James Harden walking at Paris Fashion Week like his knees only have one more NBA season left in them. Is retirement near for the superstar?' another post reads. Instead of feeling bad about the criticism, the NBA superstar joined in the fun with a playful comment responding to the reactions. 'Runway Uno. Finally got the chance to walk the runway in Paris, especially thanks to @willychavarrianewyork. Y'all been frying my walk for 24 hours straight though chill,' he captioned his Instagram post, showing that he acknowledged the Star James Harden Responds to Fan Trolling After Paris Fashion Week first appeared on Parade on Jun 30, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jun 30, 2025, where it first appeared.
