UK viewers ‘abandon social lives' as legendary series free to binge on YouTube
Hopefully this will soften some of the devastating blow dealt in February, when it was confirmed that the serial had been axed once again.
This is now the third time in 40 years that the camera have stopped rolling – though it looks unlikely that there will be any chance of a revival after Amazon Prime Video pulled the plug.
The streaming giant not only owns the rights to make new episodes, but also host an archive of classic episodes, as well as every instalment from 2012 onwards.
Whether or not the serial will remain on the platform after the finale in December remains to be seen, but for now, grieving viewers can take some comfort in the fact distributors Fremantle Media have began daily uploads on video sharing site YouTube.
The Neighbours Classics channel is currently up to episode 480, which aired on 1st May 1987 in its home country, and on 8th September 1988 in the UK.
A more contemporary offering is hosted by the Neighbours Ramsay St channel, which is currently on episode 6950, from 2014.
There hasn't been much fanfare about the new additions, though it hasn't took long for those dedicated to the show to track them down.
'I really wish I hadn't seen this. There goes my social life,' said one on Reddit.
'Hopefully they keep going,' said another.
A third added: 'This is great hopefully they show every old ep.'
There's some good news if you're fancying a nostalgic binge watch from the start – it's instantly familiar as the show that has gone on to become a global phenomenon.
Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) is roaming Ramsay Street, while his mate Shane Ramsay (Peter O'Brien) – who recently returned – lives next door.
Things were a lot simpler in 1985, with just three families creating the drama. There was no Lassiters Complex or hotel, as they didn't arrive until the following year.
We're first introduced to Shane's younger brother Danny (David Clencie), who is suffering intense nightmares about his brother's diving career, becoming a huge concern for parents Max (Francis Bell) and Maria (Dasha Blahova).
In No. 26, cheeky chappy Paul (yes, there were days before he was a ruthless businessman) lives with dad Jim (Alan Dale), grandmother Helen Daniels (Anne Haddy) and his siblings Julie (Vikki Blanche), Scott (Darius Perkins) and Lucy (Kylie Flinker).
It wouldn't be until episode 188 that Jason Donovan would take over the role of Scott, making him one of Neighbours' most iconic characters.

Despite that, executive producer Jason Herbsion recently ruled out his return in the next finale, following on from his much-hyped reappearance in 2022. More Trending
Completing the early days cast is Des Clarke (Paul Keane), who is in for quite the surprise at his stag do when he meets stripper Daphne Lawrence (Elaine Smith).
And that's when good neighbours become good friends!

Chris Hughes hits back at 'gay' claims as he opens up on JoJo Siwa romance
Love Island star Chris Hughes has dished out details on his relationship with singer JoJo Siwa, addressed their age gap and hit out at rumours that their romance is fake Chris Hughes has opened up on his relationship with JoJo Siwa, revealing that the American singer gave him a "magical feeling" he hadn't experienced before. The Love Island star, 32, met JoJo, 22, on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year. At the time, JoJo was in a relationship with 27-year-old Australian actor Kath Ebbs, who identifies as non-binary. But speculation quickly arose about Chris and JoJo, who broke up with Kath at the CBB finale party. Initially, JoJo and Chris didn't confirm their relationship but after making a number of transatlantic trips to see each other, it became obvious that they were more than friends. Chris has now spoken for the first time about their relationship, which came after he dated The Only Way Is Essex star Olivia Attwood and singer Jesy Nelson. He also had a relationship with professional golfer Annabel Dimmock but had been single since they split up in 2022. "I started to think there was no one out there for me," Chris said. He went on to explain that over the years, he had been on dates but didn't feel a spark, leading him to question himself and wonder if he had commitment issues. "Then meeting Joelle gave me this magical feeling. She is the most precious person. Life has an unexpected way of bringing two people together, and this feels like that. We were meant to cross paths. We keep saying to each other it was serendipity. Life handed me a blessing in my lap." Speaking to The Sun, Chris said he and JoJo "gravitated towards each other" while on Celeb Big Brother - but he insisted they were only friends at the beginning. However, he admitted that he began feeling "confused" about his feelings towards the end of the show and said that when JoJo flew back home to the US, she felt "upset" and he was "sad" to see her go. Chris later went to see JoJo and her family in Orlando, Florida, which he described as "the best three days of my life" - and also the time when "something fully ignited" inside of him. Chris said that was the moment he and JoJo opened up about their feelings and kissed for the first time. Gushing on JoJo, who identifies as queer, he said: "It was really special and just happened without any effort or planning. Our first kiss was genuinely special – it felt like I was in a movie. I can't keep my hands off her now! I love her skin, her eyes and her smile." He added that their age gap isn't an issue, as he confessed that although their relationship is in the early stages, he sees himself marrying the American star. The admission comes after JoJo admitted they had already discussed marriage, saying about Chris: "He is my favourite person in the world … It's beautiful, it kind of radiates. He's my favourite person and I am very grateful and very happy." Chris also addressed rumours that their relationship is fake, and said criticism doesn't bother him as long as people aren't nasty. He said: "I wouldn't go to the effort of loving someone for any other reason than it being real." He added: "I've had more people call me 'gay' in the last two months of my life than ever before. But it doesn't bother me, as long as people aren't nasty, opinions are fine." He added that while he understands he may be feminine in how he does certain things, he will not change for anybody. He cries a lot and says there's not one part of him filled with toxic masculinity, and while he says some believe crying makes you 'less of a man', he won't let himself think that and says crying is his release. Earlier this month, a source said Chris is ready to "pop the question" to JoJo. "Chris is smitten. He can't believe his luck. He and JoJo have got the most lovely thing going on here. It came from nowhere but they are so in love already – it has happened so quickly," the source claimed. "Anyone who knows Chris says that they can see him popping the question at any moment – it has been a whirlwind, a fairytale. The love is real and it is wonderful for anyone who knows Chris to see. She is besotted, too, things are moving very fast."

Ex-WWE star pulled from AEW All In 90 minutes before start time
A major last minute change has been made to tonight's AEW All In event on Amazon Prime Video. The All Elite Wrestling show – which has an 8pm start time for fans in the UK, the same as WWE's NXT Great American Bash on Netflix – was set to feature former WWE star Adam Cole defending his TNT Championship. Unfortunately, AEW owner Tony Khan has cancelled his planned match with Kyle Fletcher, and stripped him of the title. In an announcement made around an hour and a half before the show was due to start, the Fulham FC boss said during a live video on X: 'I cannot clear Adam Cole to go out there to wrestle today, I don't feel good about it. 'I had a long talk with him. I'm gonna ask Adam to take some time away to make sure he's clear, but I do need to vacate the championship.' Instead, fans will get a '4-Way Fight' for the now vacant championship, with Kyle Fletcher getting three new opponents to determine a new champion. He will now face Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara, and Dustin Rhodes – best known to WWE fans as Goldust – with the winner being crowd the TNT Champion. The nature of the injury is yet to be confirmed, but fans are heartbroken after Cole has dealt with numerous setbacks since joining AEW in 2021. 'I hope Adam Cole recovers well man, cause vacating the TNT title the day of a big title defense like this is so heartbreaking,' wrote @OmarCameUp on X. 'Adam Cole was hitting on a consistent base since he won the belt. Heartbreaking,' @AdamGoldberg28 agreed. And @DragunovTheDon added: 'I feel so bad for Adam Cole right now. I said it a week ago that his AEW run has been nothing but unlucky because of injuries and now he got injured again 💔' Cole is also yet to address the announcement and his removal from the show, with his most recent posts on X all promoting the event over the last few days. He has history at AEW All In, as he headlined the 2023 edition at Wembley Stadium when he faced MJF in a historic main event. Cole fell off an entrance ramp in September 2023, as he suffered a horror ankle injury in a freak accident, while a year earlier, he was out of action for several months due to issues following a concussion. Reflecting on his recovery, he previously told Metro: 'It was stressful, because of what I was going through, this very legitimate, very serious head injury. View More » 'The idea of showcasing that to the world was very intimidating but I'm so glad that I did. South Park fans 'cancelling Paramount Plus immediately' after show vanishes from
South Park has vanished from Paramount Plus just weeks before its long-awaited Season 27 drops on Comedy Central. Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone made their outrage clear after calling the delay in season 27's release a 's*** show' that's screwing over their show. The Season 27 premiere was delayed from July 9 to July 23 for US viewers due to ongoing licensing fights between Paramount, HBO Max, and the creators. In the latest twist, Paramount Plus has removed all 26 seasons of South Park – except for its specials – which has obviously left fans outraged. Fans outside of the US noticed the removals immediately after the license window closed. Paramount's statement explained that streaming rights expired, and they're waiting on new licensing deals before re‑adding the episodes. On social media, Paramount Plus wrote: 'We understand your frustration. Unfortunately, South Park has come to the end of the window in which we have the rights to carry it on Paramount+ which is why it has now had to come down from the platform.' What's more, Warner Bros Discovery's HBO Max deal expired in June 2025, ending their season‑by‑season streaming agreement. British fans thought they had found a loophole by streaming Paramount Plus through Amazon Prime Video – but every South Park series will be removed by Monday. Reddit fans are furious, with @emale27 saying 'Cancelling Paramount immediately' after discovering the missing episodes. Many fans bought a Paramount Plus subscription purely to stream South Park – @admirable-farmer-665, 'I bought a year's subscription this week mainly to watch this.' Another Reddit user, @therealrick232, highlighted that half of Season 23 disappeared overnight, speculating it was 'garbage.' Fans are evidently disappointed at the fragmented streaming access, especially when specials sit on Paramount Plus while core seasons vanish. Paramount signed a massive $900 million (£666 million) deal in 2021 for exclusive South Park content, but that has muddied the water for fans. HBO Max originally held streaming rights until June 2025 under a $500 million (£374 million) contract, now lapsed with no replacement deal. South Park: Post COVID (2021, TV special) South Park: Post COVID: The Return of COVID (2021, sequel special) South Park: The Streaming Wars (2022, special) South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2 (2022, follow-up special) South Park: Joining the Panderverse (2023, special) South Park: (Not Suitable for Children) (2023, OnlyFans-themed special) South Park: The End of Obesity (2024, weight-loss drug satire special) South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (1999 feature film) Warner Bros even sued Paramount back in 2023, accusing them of diverting specials away from HBO Max, prompting a legal battle. Paramount countered by suing Warner for unpaid fees in the tens of millions and claimed compliance with contracts. Despite the removals, Paramount Plus says it hopes to restore the episodes once a new agreement is finalised. Meanwhile, Season 27 is firmly scheduled to air on Comedy Central US on July 23, with streaming options still up in the air and no signs of a UK release in sight. Fans can stream episodes live on platforms like YouTube, TV and Hulu Plus as well as watch reruns on Comedy Central UK channel. There's no confirmation yet on where the new episodes will end up post-release: whether that is, Paramount Plus, HBO Max, or elsewhere. Season 27 marks South Park's return after a two-year hiatus and comes amid heated streaming drama. Parker and Stone have threatened legal action against Paramount's leadership, demanding fair contract treatment. Paramount's merger with Skydance, set to complete on July 6, is blamed for stalling streaming negotiations. Redditors remain bitter, calling Paramount Plus a 'joke' as iconic episodes like Big Gay Al and Ginger Cow are absent. More Trending Many fans say they're being forced to pirate episodes or buy physical media just to watch the full catalogue. As a result, collectors are embracing DVDs and Blu‑Rays, praising them for preserving uncensored episodes. Streaming rights continue to shuffle in what fans now call the Great South Park Shuffle of 2025. Fresh episodes will air soon, but fans are demanding clarity on where they'll be able to hit play. South Park season 27 will be ready to stream on Comedy Central on July 23rd. Got a story?
