36 Products To Subtly But Genuinely Elevate Your Summer

A cult-favorite Creamy Coconut fragrance rollerball reviewers compare to the pricey Sol de Janeiro version. 👀☀️ This is from TikTok-famous small business brand Kuumba Made, known for its luxury scents at ridiculously affordable prices, so you know they're on their game — reviewers especially love how ~beachy~ and long-lasting this sweet but elevated fragrance feels and how nicely it plays with other scents! A set of DEET-free handy mosquito-repelling bracelets for the ultimate in genius summer investments — these use essential oils, including citronella, to help stop those teensy vampires in their tracks. A coconut-scented, ridiculously cooling after-sun body lotion to rehydrate and replenish your skin after long days in the sun or soaking up the drying chlorine of the pool. The whipped texture and delightful scent will have you feeling like a whole dessert 😋. A three-pack of vintage-inspired polarized sunglasses for anyone who needs to stock up on a few "these look like Ray-Bans, but I won't cry into my Baja Blast if I accidentally leave them in the Taco Bell parking lot" pairs this year. These are especially handy because you can match the subtle prints to whatever 'fit you're wearing! A tinted lip balm so close to the same magic as "Black Honey," TikTok's beloved $25 ~universal shade~ from Clinique, that it will genuinely startle you — especially when you see the price. This is a perfect, non-sticky "go-to" lippie that's just a step above the "no makeup makeup" look, giving the perfect subtly polished effect. A set of limited edition Band-Aids with retro flower patterns so the next time you get a little ouch, you can be like, "wound care, but make it summer-y." Lottabody's Coconut Oil Foaming Curl Mousse designed for all hair types to give you satisfyingly hydrated, volumized, frizz-free curls at a FRACTION of the price of its competitors. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Face Moisturizer with SPF 50 (!!) designed to deeply hydrate your skin, help repair its moisture barrier, *and* protect it from UV rays all at once. Reviewers also love that it's truly ~~invisible~~ and acts as a lovely primer for makeup (and is easy to reapply on top of it!). It's also sensitive-skin friendly, with reviewers on tretinoin swearing by it for extra protection. Did someone say ... HOLY GRAIL?? And Hawaiian Tropic's SPF 30 Mineral Powder Sunscreen Brush, aka your scalp's BFF this summer — reviewers don't just swear by this for face coverage and a protective setting powder, but for protecting their hairline without their hair getting goopy from sunscreen scalp sprays or regular sunscreen lotion. Bonus — this is a heck of a lot cheaper than its competitors, like the $35 Supergoop and $36 Brush On Block! Olay's Firming Body Lotion full of collagen peptides and a Vitamin B3 complex for *ultra* hydration designed to visibly plump, firm, and moisturize your skin — all at a fraction of the price of other firming lotions, like the internet's beloved $48 Elasti-Cream. Red Robin Original Blend Signature Seasoning, because you shouldn't have to make the trek all the way to that giant red bird's Mojo Dojo Casa House to enjoy the RIDICULOUS, semi-feral joy of his seasoning. This *chef's kiss* blend of garlic, onion, and tomato is one of the most aggressive "if you know you know" seasonings out there and owning it is about to make you the most popular person on your block. A ridiculously versatile solar-powered bird bath fountain pump — all you have to do is plop it in water in a traditional bird bath, planter, or backyard decor, and boom! You have a sweet little bird haven that can burble water up to a foot high for all our feathered friends to enjoy. E.l.f.'s Squeeze Me More Lip Balm Duo with some real "Laneige, but make it cheap" energy. This mango and watermelon duo is actually the oh-so-tropical remix of the brand's wildly beloved Squeeze Me More Lip Balm that came out last year, so reviewers are already obsessed with how lightweight, hydrating, and deeelicious these go-to balms are. Dove's Coconut Milk & Sugar Lychee Body Wash so moisturizing, gentle, and decadently-scented that you're going to feel fully transported to your ~happy place~ every time you lather it on. This is especially lovely for sensitive skin, since the plant milk base is nutrient-rich and sulfate-free to keep your skin feeling eeextra soft and loved. A set of popular, ridiculously affordable wickaway sweatbands for a quick fix to stop the sweat from stinging your eyes (or worse, from leaking sunscreen into your eyes). A Yonanas fruit soft serve maker that magics any frozen fruit into an ice cream or sorbet texture so you can have a yummy frozen treat made to your *precise* favorite fruit combos. A lot of folks with dietary restrictions swear by this to get their ice cream kicks! And a shaved ice and slushie maker for reliving your childhood pastime of dyeing your tongue a zillion delicious colors after taking one of these to the face. Bonus: a lot of reviewers use these for ~boozy~ slushies. Eos' Cashmere Skin Collection Shave Oil — yes, that's right, the astronomically TikTok-famous Eos "cashmere" body lotion now comes in shave oil form, just in time for potential summer shaving shenanigans. Reviewers are notably impressed by how close of a shave they can get with this, particularly in sensitive areas, helping spare you from razor burn and ingrown hairs. A truly talented cooling towel you can use to prevent yourself from overheating — all you have to do is wet this to make it deliciously chilly for your neck or head. Once it warms up, you can wet it again to instantly get back the chill! A set of espresso martini instant cocktail tea bags — all the sophistication of tea, the zing! of coffee, and the 😜 of a cheeky cocktail, without the exorbitant bar price tags. All you have to do is add three ounces of cold water, 1.5 ounces of hard liquor, and the tea sachet into a glass, and you'll have a delicious cocktail in one minute. A delightfully affordable battery-operated patio umbrella light you can easily install without any tools, so you don't have to do wine and cheese in the darkness if the sun sets before your appetite does. And a set of shatterproof solar-powered outdoor lights to add some whimsy to your backyard space without using up your electricity. Reviewers are especially impressed by how weatherproof these are, and how they continue to perform over time! A pair of lightweight, entirely waterproof cloud pillow sandals for anyone whose feet are pretty little princesses who need to be pampered at all times. These are near weightless, but have a cushioned, thick sole that absorbs impact on hard floors and surfaces. Reviewers with arthritis and plantar fasciitis also swear by these for alleviating foot pain! A truly miraculous sand-free beach blanket that repels sand and dirt so easily that you'll wonder if someone cast a spell on it. Parents especially love this because babies and toddlers can lay on it without getting sand in their mouths, and it's ridiculously easy to repack without worrying about taking half the sand in the beach from with you. Oh, and it's also GINORMOUS. (And packs up super small!) And a reusable, family-friendly sand eraser to *instantly* remove sand from your skin with a quick swipe so you don't accidentally turn your unsuspecting car interiors into "Beach, Part Two." A set of handy fly-repellant table fans that are not only adorable, but will let you enjoy your outdoor picnics, barbecues, and patio meals without ever *once* having to bat a pesky fly away. This fancy Trader Joe's aged gruyere is NOT for you, my noisy little friend!! And an investment-worthy high-voltage outdoor bug zapper to stop uninvited guests from joining you during dinner on the patio — this gizmo instantly stops mosquitoes, gnats, flies, and moths in their tracks. A whisper-quiet WiFi-enabled smart air circulator fan you can control via app, Google Home, Alexa, or remote to keep yourself feeling easy breezy all summer long. Just ask the cast members of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which is how this luxe little gizmo got on some happy reviewers' radars! A pair of popular quick-dry water shoes to keep your feet from burning or getting beaten up all summer — reviewers love these for everything from walking on rockier beaches to kayaking to washing their cars. They're flexible and comfy like a sock, but protective against nefarious objects like sharp rocks and stray Legos. Physicians Formula Butter Glow & Go Stick with similar energy as the $46 Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick for a smooth, rich, and ridiculously easy-to-apply contour to give your skin that ~sunkissed~ glow with as little effort as possible. This dual-ended stick is the definition of no muss, no fuss, and so versatile that when you're not using them on the go, you'll love experimenting with all the different ways you can make a subtle colorful *pop*. A four-pack of silicone straw soda can lids that are like, "Oh, you're obsessed with Diet Coke? Let me find you a reason to be even MORE obsessed." Reviewers love these not just for the ~thrill~ of a straw, but because the covers make the cans a whole lot more spill-proof, prevent your drink from going flat, and protect your can from bugs and debris during outdoor hangs. A set of waterproof "wet bags" you will curse yourself for not buying YEARS AGO, because they are tiny little lifesavers when you're on the move. Reviewers use these to cart wet suits and towels from the beach and pool, sweaty clothes from the gym, and soiled clothes and burp cloths in diaper bags. It even has a little snap closure if you want to hook it to a stroller or bag (and the color combos are TOO CUTE). A set of satin pillowcases that not only have a cooling effect, but are soft on your skin and create less friction for your hair so it won't get as tangled while you sleep. Reviewers especially love these because they're an affordable alternative to ones that typically run $18 per case! A set of 10 flower-shaped mini faux pearl clips for an extra dainty touch to all your summer hairstyles that will make you feel like a happy sun nymph. A Lululemon-esque adjustable mini belted pack (aka ~fanny pack~) you can wear around your waist or shoulder for a lightweight bag alternative that you won't lose, since it is literally attached to you. A lot of reviewers mention how genuinely *stunned* they are by how much this little bag can secretly carry. A light up solar frog figurine for your garden or porch so when you come home from that "just one drink" dinner past midnight, this croaky lil' fella can lovingly judge you for it.

What's next for 'Squid Game' after Season 3? What we know so far

Spoiler alert: This story includes details from episodes of Season 3 of "Squid Game." Netflix's juggernaut South Korean horror drama "Squid Game" came to an "unrelentingly bloody and bleak" close June 27 with an ending that hinted at a new beginning. The new season of "Squid Game" picked up right after Season 2's bloody cliffhanger, and found Gi-hun, aka Player 456 (Lee Jung-jae), "at his lowest point yet." "But the Squid Game stops for no one," and Gi-hun was "forced to make some important choices in the face of overwhelming despair as he and the surviving players are thrust into deadlier games that test everyone's resolve," according to the season's synopsis. The viral dystopic show, which centers around main character Gi-hun has delighted fans since its 2021 premiere, combining classic thriller elements with a deeper exploration of the human capacity for evil and the perils of an unequal society. Season 2 of "Squid Game" is currently the third-biggest season of a TV show in Netflix history with 192.6 million views so far, the streamer said. While we are still recovering from the finale, here is what we know about the future of "Squid Game," including the potential of a spin off. Three seasons of death: Here's how 'Squid Game' ends with a huge cameo (Spoilers included) Join our Watch Party! Sign up to receive USA TODAY's movie and TV recommendations right in your inbox Will there be 'Squid Game' Season 4? No. "Squid Game" will not be returning for another season. Series director, writer, and executive producer Hwang Dong-hyuk, in a letter to fans, had said Season 3 would be the series last. "I am thrilled to see the seed that was planted in creating a new 'Squid Game' grow and bear fruit through the end of this story," Dong-hyuk said in his letter. "We'll do our best to make sure we bring you yet another thrill ride. I hope you're excited for what's to come." Dong-hyuk, in a recent interview, told the New York Times he's happy to be done with the series. "Yeah, I'm very tired," the creator told the media outlet. "I haven't had a deep sleep for a long time. I want to take a rest. Then I want to do feature films." "I have an idea for my next feature," he added. Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle 'Chance' of 'Squid Game' spin off In the final moments of the show, as In-ho (Lee Byung-hun) drives away from Ga-yeong's house, his SUV stops at a traffic light across from a dirty L.A. alley, where he hears a loud slapping noise. Lo and behold, he spots a suited games recruiter and an American man playing ddakji. And that recruiter isn't just anyone, it's Cate Blanchett, who gives In-ho a knowing look before she goes back to slapping her prey, hinting at the possibility of a new beginning. While Netflix has not made any announcement regarding this, Dong-hyuk teased at the "possibility" of a spinoff to People at the Season 3 premiere in New York City. "I cannot just tell right now when and how it's going to happen," he told the media outlet. "But there is a chance." In a separate interview with Entertainment Weekly published June 25, Hwang Dong-hyuk shared he has been thinking about potentially continuing the story. "I actually had this faint ideation about possibly a spinoff — not a sequel, but maybe a spinoff about the three-year gap between Season 1 and Season 2 when Gi-hun [Lee Jung-jae] looks around for the recruiters," Hwang told EW. "There is that three-year period, and maybe I could have a portrayal of what the recruiters or Captain Park [Oh Dal-su] or officers or masked men were doing in that period, not inside the gaming arena, but their life outside of that." "So that is some vague ideation that I have that could possibly be developed in the future," the creator told the media outlet. Beyoncé gets the Houston welcome she deserves as fans celebrate with epic pre-show bash

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter launched her "Cowboy Carter" tour for two nights in Houston, and her hometown made sure to welcome her with open arms — including an epic pre-concert party thrown by Marriott Bonvoy, the official hotel partner of the tour. The Grammy-winning singer brought her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour to her hometown of Houston for two nights. Beyoncé took the stage at NRG Stadium for back-to-back shows on June 28 and June 29. Each night before the H-town shows, Marriott Marquis Houston hosted a pre-concert experience in its Presidential Suit. During the celebration, guests were greeted with an extensive curated menu featuring items such as creole crab roasted oysters, smoked salmon tartlets and more. The experience was topped off with speciality SirDavis cocktails and a DJ that amped fans up before the show. Faye Stuart and her friends were among those who attended the experience ahead of the concert. "I'm from Liverpool in the United Kingdom, and we've come to Houston, Texas, to see Beyoncé because it's a country album. There's no better place to see her than Texas," Stuart said. "This is from Houston, Texas, baby. It's massive." And after the celebration, attendees were taken to the concert by a private bus. Of course, the bash wasn't the only "Cowboy Carter"-themed event in the city. The were a ton of events to celebrate the Texas-bred singer throughout the week. Even guests of the hotel who did not attend the pre-concert party were greeted with music in the lobby, a complimentary cocktail and "Cowboy Carter" signage. One sign in the hotel read, "Welcome Beyoncé Cowboy Carter Tour." Another said, "Welcome Beyhivers to the Cowboy Carter Tour." Similar events have taken place at Marriott Bonvoy hotels throughout the tour and are expected to continue as Beyoncé performs in more cities. As fans know, Beyoncé first debuted her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with 39 songs on the set list. Her shows have been filled with family, fashion, different music genres, and most notably country music and cultural commentary. The H-Town stop comes after Beyoncé wrapped the international leg of her tour — first with a six-night stint in London, followed by three dazzling nights in Paris. During her Paris shows, she shocked fans when she brought out Miley Cyus and husband Jay-Z for surprise performances on the first and last night. The nine-city tour will span the U.S. and Europe with the grand finale taking place in Las Vegas on July 26.
