Founder of HWH Studio in Dubai, Adrienne Everett shares her morning to evening beauty routine. Talk us through your morning routine.
Mornings are my little slice of zen before the world gets busy. I start with warm water and lemon—like giving my insides a refreshing wake-up call. Then, it's movement time: yoga, Pilates, or sometimes just freestyle dancing in my kitchen. My skincare is non-negotiable: a gentle cleanse with ALO's Enzyme Facial Cleanser, a few drops of 100 percent carrot oil for that natural glow, and Augustinus Bader's The Serum to feel like I'm prepping for a photoshoot. I finish with Valmont's hydrating moisturiser and sunscreen. A matcha latte is the cherry on top, and then I'm ready to conquer the day. How does your evening routine differ?
Evenings are for unwinding in full luxury mode. I start with a double cleanse (because the day deserves to be properly wiped away), then go all in with Augustinus Bader's The Rich Cream for the ultimate pampering. I dab on some retinol, seal it with a little carrot oil, and if I'm feeling fancy, I'll pop on a hydrating sheet mask while sipping chamomile tea. A little Instagram scrolling or journaling rounds out my perfect wind-down. What are your go-to skincare products?
Oh, it's a lineup of glow-getters! I'm obsessed with Augustinus Bader's full range—it's like skincare meets science fiction. 100 percent carrot oil is my hydration hero, and I can't go without a solid sunscreen to keep my skin happy and healthy. Are you a fan of masks?
Completely. Masks are my excuse to stop everything and pamper myself. I love detoxifying clay masks when my skin needs a reset and hydrating sheet masks for that instant glow. Bonus points if they smell amazing—because skincare should feel like a mini vacation. How would you describe your approach to makeup?
Effortless, simple, and all about enhancing my features. I go for a natural glow, with Chanel on my cheeks for that perfect flush, Charlotte Tilbury bronzer for subtle warmth, and LAS for perfectly groomed brows. Makeup is like the fun friend that helps you shine, but it never steals the show from healthy skin. What can always be found in your makeup bag?
Oh, my essentials are always ready to roll: SPF (as my primer and protector), blush for a soft pop of color, a multitasking lip-and-cheek tint, and bronzer. I never go anywhere without a mini fragrance roller (or two) and my mini Barbara Sturm Hydrating mist for quick glow-up on the go. Which fragrances are your current favourites?
Hermès, Hermès, Hermès. I have six different scents in my rotation, and I love layering them to create a signature vibe. Right now, warm, cozy notes like amber, vanilla, and sandalwood are my go-tos. It's all about smelling as good as you feel Evening fragrances are where the drama comes in. I go for deep, sultry scents like oud or patchouli and love mixing my Hermes collection for something unique. It's all about creating a mood that's confident, chic, and a little mysterious.
Talk us through your hair routine. I'm a Fable & Mane devotée! Their shampoo and conditioner leave my hair soft and healthy, and their scalp oil is a game-changer. I always use a heat protectant before styling, and a lightweight serum is my secret for that final polished look. Sundays are reserved for deep-conditioning masks because my hair deserves a spa day too. What is the most unusual item in your makeup bag?
A jade roller! It's not just for my face; I use it for de-puffing, quick glow-ups, and honestly, it's a fun little ritual that makes me feel extra fancy. Practical and chic—it's a win-win! The Hero Buys Fable & Mane

Kris Aquino Shares Struggles with Pain Amid Rainy Days and Ongoing Health Battle
TV host and actress Kris Aquino opened up about her worsening physical condition, particularly the severe bone pain she experiences during rainy weather—one of the many symptoms tied to her over 10 autoimmune diseases. Through a Q&A session with followers on Instagram, Kris candidly shared that she's been feeling sad lately, especially with the upcoming 16th death anniversary of her mother, former President Cory Aquino. She expressed sorrow knowing her mother might be witnessing her suffer from both physical and emotional pain. Despite this, Kris remains proud of her son Joshua, who she describes as sweet and affectionate. She thanked close friends and family, including her sister Viel and former senator Nancy Binay's sister Anne, for helping take care of Josh while she's far away. She also noted that the fresh sea breeze has helped improve her breathing and stabilize her blood pressure—an important benefit given her low blood condition. However, Kris admitted that the rainy weather intensifies her pain. She even drew a sentimental comparison, recalling how her mother once said she was the 'female Ninoy,' and now sees her youngest son, Bimby, as the version Cory truly deserved. Responding to a fan's well-wishes, Kris said she experiences both good and bad days, but is thankful to have Bimby by her side during the worst ones. She also clarified that she has never had cancer, addressing rumors triggered by her PET scan earlier this year. The scan, she explained, was meant to monitor lung damage from her autoimmune condition and long COVID, not cancer.

Kylie Verzosa acquires villa in Italy with friends
Beauty queen-turned-actress Kylie Verzosa has acquired a property in Italy with her friends. Verzosa revealed the purchase through an Instagram Story post, sharing photos of the newly acquired house located in Puglia, a region in southern Italy. 'Bought a house in Italy… She's finally ours,' she wrote, referring to the property named Villa Sogno or 'dream villa.' The villa, designed in traditional Puglian architectural style, features a stone façade, a central courtyard, landscaped gardens, and a turquoise pool. Its interiors blend rustic and modern elements, including arched windows, barrel-vaulted ceilings, a wooden farmhouse table, wicker chairs, and a four-poster bed with a copper bathtub. One of Verzosa's co-owners, Danish musician Tomas Barfod, gave a closer look at the property through photos on his Instagram page. The acquisition follows Verzosa's business debut last year, when she launched her shapewear clothing line.
