Ray Fittipaldo says Joey Porter Jr.'s development caused one Steelers coaching change
On a recent episode of 93.7 The Fan, Fittipaldo connected Porter's development issues to Brown losing his job in Pittsburgh:

"[Steelers DB coach Gerald Alexander] said he thinks [Joey]'s elite at the line of scrimmage, in terms of disrupting, but it's everything that happens after that where Joey still struggles. Like, your transition to your coverage, then once you're close to your guy — don't put your hands on him, and then be more opportunistic when the ball's in the air. He's been kind of behind the eight ball in all three of those things.
"That's Gerald's job. That's why Grady Brown is no longer here. Joey Porter has not developed the way they hoped he thought he would as a No. 32 overall pick in that draft."
The Steelers hired Alexander in February to serve as the new defensive backs coach, while Brown was picked up by the Saints to serve as their new cornerbacks coach.
Porter could be in for a major breakout in 2025 alongside newly signed CB Darius Slay Jr., who's taken the third-year Steelers corner under his wing this offseason.

Rich Hill reportedly called up by Royals, becoming MLB's oldest active player and joining record-tying 14th team
Rich Hill just keeps on pitching. The veteran left-hander is being called up by the Kansas City Royals on Monday after signing a minor-league deal with the team in mid-May. Hill's promotion was reported by FanSided's Robert Murray. By joining the Royals, the 45-year-old Hill supplants Justin Verlander, 42, as the oldest active player in Major League Baseball. He'll be the sixth 40-year-old on an MLB roster this season. Kansas City is also the 14th MLB team Hill will pitch for in his 21 seasons, tying Edwin Jackson for the most teams a player has joined during his career. NEW ORLEANS – Ateba Gautier has been fighting for a long time, but not always professionally. The Cameroonian powerhouse needed just 70 seconds to take out Robert Valentin in Saturday's UFC 318 prelims at Smoothie King Center. Gautier (8-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) has now finished his past seven opponents in a row, six of them in the first round. Just 23, Gautier says he garnered experience from fighting in the streets – something his mother heavily disapproved of. "I always used to fight, but not like proper fight," Gautier told reporters during his post-fight news conference. "I don't have much experience like competition fights. But I always used to fight in the street in my country. Even when I was in (university), I used to fight in uni. So, for me, it was normal. I wanted to fight, but my mom, 'Oh no, you can't fight if you don't get a degree in university.' "That's why I went to uni. I did physics just to make her (think) OK, like I'm smart. I'm not stupid, but fighting is not for stupid people. I'm smart, but I want to fight. I just enjoy the feelings, adrenaline, how you feel. Always you feel like you're in danger. I like this feeling." Gautier is happy to prove that he can also be a threat on the ground but doesn't think it's necessary to show off that part of his game. "My camp was focused on wrestling a lot," Gautier said. "We did a lot of striking and a lot of wrestling. Too much, but I can't show my wrestling level, my grappling level in a few minutes. It will take time. If someone wants, OK, we're going to go. But if you don't get there, what's the point?"
