Yahoo04-06-2025
The final names have been added to WWE's Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, with a new Men's and Women's contestant joining the contest.
On Monday's episode of WWE RAW, Stephanie Vaquer joined the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match after defeating Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile. Vaquer was able to walk out of the match the winner after pinning Nile after hitting the SVB.
Later in the night, in a stunner, El Grande Americano punched his ticket to the show. In an electric match that also featured CM Punk and AJ Styles, Americano scored a massive upset win. The match came to a chaotic end when Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed interfered. This caused Sami Zayn and Jey Uso to come running down to help. In the end, Americano hit a headbutt on Styles to score the win. Afterward, Seth Rollins and his new team took out Zayn, Punk, and Uso to close the show.
WWE's Money in the Bank will take place on June 7, 2025, from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The women's match will feature Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Rhea Ripley, Giulia, Naomi, and Vaquer. On the men's side, it'll be Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Penta, Seth Rollins, Andrade, and El Grande Americano.

WWE champion Gunther admits Goldberg is still 'very intimidating personality' as he gears up for title match

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther is next. At least that's what Hall of Famer Goldberg declared as he re-entered the professional wrestling world for one final match. He has had his sights set on "The Ring General" since their interaction at Bad Blood last year. Goldberg will look to avenge some of the comments Gunther made about him and his family at "Saturday Night's Main Event" on July 12. Gunther told Fox News Digital he was looking forward to the opportunity, even as Goldberg has threatened to "beat the f---" out of him. "That is the intensity you expect from Bill Goldberg, that is what he is known for," Gunther said. "He is not somebody that beats around the bush or tells a lengthy story about all the intricate details of why he acts the way he acts. He is straight to the point and that is what made him stand out throughout his whole career. "He is 58 years old now, but I can tell everyone when he is in the ring with me, like in front of me, this man is a very intimidating personality, very tall person, still in fantastic shape, so yeah, I am ready for it, and I am ready to face it. It is going to be very interesting how it plays out in the ring." Gunther teased Goldberg in recent weeks about defeating him in three minutes – something Goldberg was famous for during the dominant days of his reign in World Championship Wrestling. However, whether it's three minutes, 30 minutes or three seconds, Gunther just wants to walk out of Atlanta as the victor. "We shall see. At the end of the day, especially when it is for the title, a win is a win. But I am not too concerned about that," Gunther told Fox News Digital. But it's always been me playing with all the synonymous things or terms out there with Bill Goldberg and that is what made him stand out. "An absolute killer his whole career. He was not known for long classic matches. He is known for being a killer, finished off everyone in a very short time, and he was very successful with it. So let's see it is going to be interesting what he wants to do, what his strategy is for everything, is he going to try to play a bit slower or try to stick to what he always did, so it is going to be interesting to see." With Seth Rollins as the holder of the Money in the Bank contract, which guarantees him a title shot at any place or any time, Gunther's second World Heavyweight Championship reign may not be for long. However, Gunther made clear his mind is on Goldberg going into the premium live event later this month. WWE 'Raw': Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Gunther, LA Knight have wild brawl

July 1 (UPI) -- Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins confronted World Heavyweight Champion Gunther before a wild brawl broke out that also included CM Punk and LA Knight on WWE Raw. Gunther, on Monday, originally came to the ring to promise victory against Hall of Famer Goldberg at Saturday Night's Main Event on July 12. "My goal for Saturday Night's Main Event is to take my time, take him apart, blow him up, outclass him and embarrass him in front of everything and everyone that is near and dear to him," Gunther said about Goldberg. Gunther then started looking toward the future and who might challenge him next for his title before Rollins arrived onto the scene with his Money in the Bank briefcase and The Wiseman Paul Heyman by his side. Gunther mocked Rollins for how he was unable to successfully use his Money in the Bank briefcase on Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena at Night of Champions on Saturday. Rollins responded he only wanted to prevent Punk from defeating Cena, and that he could cash in on Gunther in the future. Punk then immediately ran down to the ring and started exchanging blows with Rollins as Gunther watched. Rollins quickly retreated into the audience and started making his way up the stairs until LA Knight appeared right behind him. Knight and Rollins continued to fight throughout the stadium and ended up at club level seats with fans nearby. Knight and Rollins threw punches near a bar stand before Rollins blinded Knight by throwing beer into his face. Back inside the ring, Punk attempted to leave before Gunther grabbed him by the arm. Punk then pushed Gunther to the ground and told the champ to stay out of his way. The brawl led to Knight getting a match against Rollins at Saturday Night's Main Event.
