Apple Music's Top 500 songs of the decade full list: BTS, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Drake and more

Apple Music has released its most-streamed songs of the decade list. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the global streaming platform, the list was rolled out in batches this week, counting down the most-played tracks. With a sensational breakout that became a household name even in non-English-speaking countries, Ed Sheeran's Shape of You sits right at the top. The song spent over 1,000 days ranked number one on the platform, dominating the all-genre Top Songs chart in at least one country. It still holds the record for the biggest first-day pop debut in Apple Music's global streaming history. And at number two is The Weeknd's Blinding Lights, which stayed in the top tier of the Global Daily Top 100 for over 180 days. The Weeknd also dominates the R&B category on the list, with a total of nine entries.
Drake's track God's Plan from his album Scorpion sits at number 3 and has become the most-streamed hip-hop song in Apple's history. But the Canadian rapper has one more feather to add—he has 27 songs in total on the list, the most by any artist. Post Malone grabs both No. 4 and No. 5 spots with Sunflower (with Swae Lee) from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Rockstar featuring 21 Savage. The rest of the top 10 includes Drake's One Dance (ft. Wizkid and Kyla), Travis Scott's Sicko Mode, Ed Sheeran's Perfect, Chris Brown's No Guidance, and Billie Eilish's Bad Guy.

K-pop boy band BTS scored two spots, Dynamite at No. 34 and Butter at 252. Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas Is You lands at No. 100, making it the only holiday song on the list. Multiple Taylor Swift songs like Blank Space and Cruel Summer also made it, with 14 tracks total, second only to Drake. Lil Nas X's Old Town Road lands at No. 60 and is the highest-ranked country music entry. Billie Eilish has the most alternative tracks on the list, with nine songs featured.

Apple also dropped a special interview with Ed Sheeran, where he reflected on the global success of Shape of You and said, 'No one can take away the song,' he told Zane Lowe. 'I'll be able to play it forever… I'm just grateful I have songs like that—where you could be anywhere in the world, and if someone hands you a guitar, you can make people smile.'

From BTS J-Hope, Lee Min-ho, to SEVENTEEN: Celebs attend BLACKPINK's star-studded 'Deadline' concert

BLACKPINK, the global K-pop sensation, officially kicked off their highly anticipated world tour, Deadline, on July 4, in Goyang, Seoul, marking a powerful reunion of the quartet following their respective solo endeavours. After months of individual projects and solo releases, Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo have reunited on stage, much to the elation of fans worldwide. The second night of BLACKPINK's Goyang concert drew widespread attention not only for BLACKPINK's electrifying performance but also for the high-profile attendees who filled the audience. From top K-pop idols to leading Korean actors, the venue was brimming with star power. Among the most talked-about guests was BTS' J-Hope, whose entrance reportedly caused quite a stir. A concert-goer remarked, "Someone who attended BLACKPINK's concert today said that he thought there was an earthquake when J-Hope entered the area (sic)." Fans echoed the sentiment, expressing amazement at the crossover of major fandoms in one space. SEVENTEEN members Mingyu, The8, and Jeonghan also made an appearance, further fuelling excitement. One fan hilariously declared, "MINGYU 5TH BLACKPINK MEMBER get him on stage now (sic)," while another couldn't contain their shock: 'OH MY GOD???? JEONGHAN AND KENTARO AT THE BLACKPINK CONCERT???? (sic)' In addition to idol stars, the concert also welcomed renowned actors. Lee Min-ho, Jisoo's 'Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint' co-star and one of Korea's most celebrated actors, drew admiration from fans after sharing photos from the event. One fan posted, "Jisoo's master is here! #LeeMinHo went to BLACKPINK's concert & took photos to show appreciation (sic)." Another wrote warmly, 'Wow!!! Actor #LeeMinHo out here on his ig supporting #BLACKPINK_DEADLINE tour & being an amazing bestie to pretty #JISOO. Go girls, fighting (sic).' Lee Hyeri, actress and singer, was also spotted at the venue, along with a host of other celebrity attendees, leading fans to compare the concert's atmosphere to a major year-end music show. One viral reaction read: "Is it a BLACKPINK concert or SBS Gayo Daejeon 2018 cause wtf?? BTS TWICE SEVENTEEN WINNER GIDLE RED VELVET are attending the show (sic)." Fans were also thrilled by the performance itself, especially the live encore segment. After years of relying on backing tracks, the group gave a rare live encore performance, sparking excitement across social media: "BLACKPINK SINGING REALLY DURING ENCORE IT'S BEEN 6 YEARS (sic)." As always, Jisoo's close connections were highlighted, with a shoutout to her Snowdrop castmates in attendance: '#JISOO with her Snowdrop family at BLACKPINK Deadline World Tour Concert in Goyang Day 2 (sic).' What stood out to many was the show of unity among celebrities, transcending fandom rivalries. One fan wrote poignantly: "The way these artists always support their fellow artists, while the fans are busy fighting over unnecessary things. It just proves the beef is all in your heads (sic)." Indeed, BLACKPINK's Deadline concert did not merely serve as a musical spectacle, but also as a celebration of camaraderie and mutual respect within the South Korean entertainment industry. As one fan perfectly summed it up: 'BLACKPINK is literally insane for collecting both senior and junior groups. They are truly the celebrity of all celebrities (sic).' With such a dazzling start in Seoul, BLACKPINK's Deadline world tour promises to be an unforgettable journey, not just for BLINKs, but for the entire entertainment world watching closely.

K-pop 3rd generation fans assemble, this one's for you! The second day of BLACKPINK's concert in South Korea, kicking off their DEADLINE World Tour in Goyang, saw celebrities pouring in from multiple K-pop groups, and onlookers could not believe the sheer stardom that surrounded them. BTS member J-Hope led the pack as one of the most unexpected sightings of the event, as more friends of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa came in to support them. Members of Red Velvet, SEVENTEEN, TWICE, IDLE, and more, to name a few. BLACKPINK DEADLINE World Tour in Goyang Day 2 attendees It seemed like J-Hope had some trouble with his seating. After finding his place once, he ended up on his phone and was then moved to a different spot, near actor Lee Dong Hwi. It is unknown which of the four BLACKPINK members invited the BTS singer, raising curiosity about the unknown friendship. Just one day ago, he performed at PSY's SUMMER SWAG, impressing the attendees. Videos and photos from the concert showed TWICE's Nayeon and Jihyo, SEVENTEEN's Mingyu, The8, and Jeonghan, Red Velvet's Irene and Seulgi, I-DLE's Minnie, IVE and LE SSERAFIM among the crowd, cheering for stars. Moreover, BLACKPINK's agency mates WINNER's Seunghoon, memes of BABYMONSTER and TREASURE, were also in attendance, enjoying the girl group's songs. Other actor friends of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa included Jung Hae In, Jung Ho Yeon, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Hyeri, making for one of the most star-studded events in recent K-pop history. After kicking off their highly anticipated tour in South Korea, the girls who initially announced 10 stops increased it to 16. Soon, they will head to the USA and Canada for their North American leg, then move to Europe in August. With a break in September, BLACKPINK will reconvene for their Asian concerts, which will cover the end of the year, not including December, and head into 2026, with the last concert set for January 25 in Hong Kong. Previously, BLACKPINK performed their upcoming single JUMP for the first time, earning positive reactions from the fans. It is set to be officially released in the coming week, with release plans unconfirmed by YG Entertainment so far.
