Tillman, 23, is said to have a release clause in his contract but there appear to be uncertainties about its activation.
The attacking midfielder came to PSV on loan from Bayern Munich in 2023 and was later signed permenantly. He is currently playing with the United States national team at the regional Gold Cup championship in the US.
In Leverkusen, Tillman would fill the void left by Florian Wirtz who has left for Liverpool in a deal that could be worth up to €150 million.

'This is not AI': Nassourdine Imavov rips UFC opponent Caio Borralho with creative video

Nassourdine Imavov isn't much of a trash talker, but it appears he's had enough of Caio Borralho. Borralho (17-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) has spent months calling out Imavov (16-4 MMA, 8-2 UFC) but was dismissed by the French fighter, who had his sights set on a title shot. Borralho even went as far as saying Dagestan would be ashamed of Imavov. Advertisement Imavov was initially set to be the backup fighter for the middleweight title fight between champion Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev in the UFC 319 headliner on Aug. 16. However, he has opted to stay busy in the meantime and is now booked to face Borralho in the UFC Paris main event on Sept. 6 from Accor Arena. Borralho got his wish, but Imavov wasted no time in firing back at the Brazilian's constant jabs – and he even got creative with it. Check out the video below. Imavov is coming off a signature knockout win over former champion Israel Adesanya at UFC Fight Night 250. He is on a four-fight winning streak. Fabrizio Romano: Tyrell Malacia set to return to Manchester United

Tyrell Malacia is expected to return Manchester United this summer after PSV Eindhoven declined to trigger the buy option in his loan deal. Despite the successful end to the season for PSV, the Dutch club have opted against pursuing a permanent transfer. According to Fabrizio Romano, the option to buy was available but not exercised. The 25 year old left-back joined the Eredivisie champions in January on a short-term basis, hoping to revive his career following a long injury layoff. Advertisement Malacia had spent over a year on the sidelines after suffering a serious knee injury during United's Premier League clash against Fulham. His absence stretched across two seasons, leading to an extensive and difficult rehabilitation process. Having made a tentative return to first-team football midway through the previous campaign, he managed eight appearances under new United head coach Ruben Amorim before securing his move back to the Netherlands. At PSV, Malacia featured sparingly but was part of the squad that secured the league title, adding a silver lining to an otherwise stuttering spell in his development. The club had been hoping to offload the defender permanently this summer, as they continue to reshape their squad under Amorim. Advertisement Malacia's long-term fitness concerns and diminished explosiveness have limited interest from potential suitors, making a permanent departure challenging. United remain open to another loan move, especially as they look to create room in the squad and recover value from a player once viewed as a long-term solution at left back. If no exit materialises, the former Feyenoord man could be reintegrated into pre-season plans, though likely as a depth option rather than a first-choice starter. Malacia's future at Old Trafford remains uncertain, with the transfer window well underway and decisions needed ahead of the new campaign. Monaco hold talks with Barcelona's Marc-André ter Stegen

AS Monaco have held talks with Barcelona's Marc-André ter Stegen (33) regarding a move, according to a report from L'Équipe. The Principality club have cast their net far and wide this summer in their search for a new No.1. Monaco's CEO, Thiago Scuro, confirmed upon the conclusion of the Ligue 1 season that a new goalkeeper was sought after after the current options, Radoslaw Majecki and Philipp Köhn, failed to convince over the duration of the campaign. Advertisement David De Gea was considered before he renewed at Fiorentina. Djordje Petrovic and Marcin Bulka have also been linked with Monaco, as have Torino's Vanja Milinkovic-Savic and Trabzonspor's Ugurcan Çakir. The latter represents a more feasible option, financially. Ter Stegen, who has recently seen stiff competition arrive at Barcelona in the form of Joan Garcia, is an option. L'Équipe even understands that talks were recently held with the German international, whose contract with the Catalan club runs until 2028. GFFN | Luke Entwistle
