Hulk Hogan Real American Beer is selling out after WWE wrestler's death

Only a pro wrestling legend like Hulk Hogan could beat the alcohol sales slump. Real American Beer, co-founded by Hulk Hogan, is quickly selling out across stores nationwide following the news of his death. He passed away on July 24 after suffering a cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida. Don't miss the move: Subscribe to TheStreet's free daily newsletter From his recognizable bleached-blond hair, signature mustache, and iconic bandanas, Terry Gene Bollea, known in the entertainment industry as Hulk Hogan, was one of the most legendary professional American wrestlers in history. He rose to fame for his time with WWE and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Founded in 2024, Real American Beer is the official beer and sponsor of Real American Freestyle, a new pro wrestling league co-founded by Hulk Hogan in April. Related: Guinness beer partners with ice cream brand known for wild flavors The demand for the beer has been so high that the official website now has an announcement with the following message to customers: "We're experiencing high order volume and working hard to get every package out. Shipping may take 2-4 weeks to begin tracking." Real American Beer has become Hogan's fans' way to commemorate his legacy. Following the passing of Hulk Hogan, Real American Beer took to Instagram to honor him with a heartfelt post. "When we set out to launch Real American Beer one year ago, it was with Hulk's vision and mission. He said he believed that Real American Beer and its message to America could leave an even bigger legacy than his wrestling career," the post stated. Related: Netflix makes another major change subscribers will hate Hundreds of Hulk Hogan fans flooded the Instagram post with messages about the beloved pro wrestler and his beer brand. A netizen commented, "I will be drinking a few today in his memory. Rest easy, Hulkster, we love you." Another user commented, "Now we bring his legacy to every bar, every billboard, and every beer-drinking American in his honor!! My condolences." A loyal fan even revealed he would be breaking his sobriety by commenting, "I don't drink at all, but I will be going to the supermarket today to get a case and have one for him." Alcohol sales have fallen since their peak during the COVID-19 pandemic, as economic uncertainty and rising inflation have led consumers to reduce their spending, and now tariffs have become yet another factor affecting the already challenged alcohol industry. Additionally, changing consumer habits are reshaping the market. Younger generations, particularly Millennials and Gen Z, are becoming more health-conscious, driving a 6% year-over-year increase in non-alcoholic beverage consumption in the U.S. U.S. beer products and imports declined by 1% in 2024, while craft brewer volume sales dropped 4%. This has slightly reduced small and independent brewers' share of the U.S. beer market by volume to 13.3%, according to data from the Brewers Association. Beer sales might be down overall, but the success of Real American Beer is a testament to Hulk Hogan's strong influence and long-lasting legacy. Ric Flair Pays Emotional Tribute After WWE Rival Hulk Hogan's Death

Ric Flair Pays Emotional Tribute After WWE Rival Hulk Hogan's Death originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Wrestling icon Terry "Hulk Hogan" Bollea died Thursday at age 71 in Clearwater, Florida, TMZ has confirmed. Emergency responders were called to Hogan's home Thursday morning. Police vehicles and EMTs arrived shortly after a 911 call reporting a cardiac arrest, and Hogan was loaded onto a stretcher and whisked away by ambulance. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital, according to TMZ. Among the first to react to the news was WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, who posted on X, "I am absolutely shocked to hear about the passing of my close friend @HulkHogan! Hulk has been by my side since we started in the wrestling business. "An incredible athlete, talent, friend, and father! Our friendship has meant the world to me. He was always there for me even when I didn't ask for him to be. He was one of the first to visit me when I was in the hospital with a 2% chance of living, and he prayed by my bedside. Hulk also lent me money when Reid was sick. Hulkster, no one will ever compare to you! Rest in peace my friend! 🙏🏻." Bollea Ushers in 'Hulkamania' Era of Wrestling Adopting the moniker Hulk Hogan and donning yellow-and-red gear, Bollea ushered in the "Hulkamania" era that propelled professional wrestling into mainstream pop culture. Hogan headlined eight of the first nine WrestleMania events, and his record 1,474‑day WWF Championship reign remains the longest of the WrestleMania era. He was the first wrestler to win back‑to‑back Royal Rumble matches (1990 and 1991) and starred in Saturday Night's Main Event television specials that drew record Nielsen ratings (15.2) and 33 million viewers. Hulk Hogan Leaves WWF for Rival WCW In the mid‑1990s, Hogan jumped to rival promotion WCW, capturing the WCW World Heavyweight Championship six times and, as "Hollywood" Hogan, leading the New World Order (nWo) stable. The nWo storyline was instrumental in sparking the Monday Night Wars and remains a touchstone of '90s wrestling lore. Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 (and again in 2020 as part of the nWo), Hogan's influence extended far beyond any single promotion. Reports of Hogan's Failing Health Earlier in 2025 In May, rumors circulated that Hogan was in critical condition (even in a coma) following a four‑level anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) to address chronic spinal issues. His wife, Sky Daily, whom he married in September 2023, publicly denied the most dire speculation, stating that although his rehabilitation was slow, his heart remained strong and he was "on a steady path to recovery." As the face of an entire generation's introduction to sports‑entertainment, Hogan's death marks the end of an story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jul 24, 2025, where it first appeared.

Hulk Hogan's Last Public Photo Goes Viral

Hulk Hogan's Last Public Photo Goes Viral originally appeared on Athlon Sports. On Thursday morning, emergency crews were dispatched to the Clearwater, Florida, residence of WWE legend and Hall of Fame wrestler Hulk Hogan after reports of someone having suffered a cardiac arrest. According to the Clearwater Police Department and WWE statements, Hogan was transported to Morton Plant Hospital, where medical staff pronounced him dead at age 71. His longtime manager, Chris Volo, confirmed the cause of death as cardiac arrest; Hogan was surrounded by family at the time of his passing. Shortly after the news broke, a photograph taken recently that showed Hogan looking frail and largely unrecognizable went viral. It reignited the debate about his health in the days before his passing. Fans online were quick to voice their opinion. "He does not look well," said one user. "Wow I feel like he knew his time was coming," another fan commented. "You can see he is looking sick here 😤," one other user responded. "Look at his eyes he feel something wrong I love u brotha my childhood hero RIP," another fan replied. "He seemed pretty ill in this photo RIP to the hulkster," said one other commenter. "He looked exhausted, RIP," another user responded. Similar statements were echoed back in May during Hogan's interview with "Fox & Friends." In the world of professional wrestling, few names resonate as strongly as Terry Gene Bollea, better known to generations of fans as Hulk Hogan. Across a career spanning four decades, Hogan's unmistakable handlebar mustache, yellow-and-red ring gear and "Hulkamania" catchphrases transformed him into the face of sports entertainment. He headlined WWE's flagship event, WrestleMania, on eight occasions and captured six WWE World Heavyweight Championships during the 1980s boom. In 1994, he crossed over to World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he claimed the WCW World Heavyweight Championship six times. At one point, he held the title longer than any competitor in the promotion's history. Although Hogan's long‐term health struggles were known within wrestling circles, the sudden collapse still came as a shock to casual fans. His wife, Sky Daily, had posted a lighthearted family photo on social media weeks earlier and no public statements had hinted at an imminent story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jul 24, 2025, where it first appeared.
