'Jurassic World Rebirth' releases on digital this week: Where to watch
In the five years after the events of "Jurassic World Dominion," the planet's ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs and those remaining only exist in "isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived," the film's synopsis says.
"The three most colossal creatures across land, sea and air within that tropical biosphere hold, in their DNA, the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind," it adds.
Zora Bennett (Scarlet Johansson) is tasked to lead a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure the genetic material.

USA TODAY's Brian Truitt gave the film ★★½ out of four, writing "director Gareth Edwards at least tries something different by throwing a heist movie into the usual perilous adventure."
"But homages to Steven Spielberg's 1993 original, a starry cast (including Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Oscar winner Mahershala Ali) and dinos aplenty can only do so much when saddled with generic characters and a rickety plot," Truitt says, adding "this franchise probably should have been extinct a while ago. We're stuck with it, though, so might as well go with the pterosaur flow."
Here is what to know about the digital release for "Jurassic World Rebirth," and when it will be available to stream.

'South Park' is leaving HBO Max as the show gets a new streaming home
"South Park" fans don't have long to binge their favorite dark comedy on HBO Max before it leaves the platform for good. All 26 seasons of Comedy Central's show are set to depart Warner Bros. Discovery's streaming service on Wednesday, Aug. 5, according to HBO Max. The exit comes after Paramount revealed an exclusive five-year licensing deal with Park County, the entertainment company founded by series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. HBO Max subscribers in the United States have enjoyed the entire show's library for the past five years. Since its 1997 premiere, the animated comedy has been renewed season after season, arguably due to its raunchy humor that makes satirical digs about pop culture and politics. The new season has already stirred controversy over its July 23 episode that depicted President Donald Trump cuddling in bed with Satan, his lover, using actual photos of the president crudely placed on an animated body. In a statement to USA TODAY, White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers said the show "hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention." Paramount Global reported a ratings milestone with the episode, titled "Sermon on the Mount," becoming the show's most-watched season premiere since 1999, with viewership up 68% from the Season 26 premiere. Where to watch 'South Park' now? All seasons of "South Park," including the 27th season, are now available to stream on Paramount+. New episodes will hit the service the day after each one airs on Comedy Central. What time does the next 'South Park' episode drop? The newest episode of "South Park" Season 27 is set to drop Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. The episode will be available to stream on Paramount+ the following day, Aug. 7, at 6 am ET/3 a.m. PT, according to the streaming platform. Tiffany Haddish's baby reveal sparks questions: 'What does this mean'
Tiffany Haddish's latest hard launch is stirring up confusion on social media. The 45-year-old comedian on Aug. 3 shared a joint Instagram post with her friend Jason Lee, 47, with a caption that read "Cats out the bag ❤️." Lee has one hand on a stroller and another around Haddish as she carries an infant in her left arm. In a second photo, the two gaze lovingly at the child as he stares straight into the camera's lens. Actress Tasha Smith summed up the sentiment in the comments section by writing: "What does this mean." A few other commenters pointed out that the cat was, in fact, still in the bag due to the lack of context about who the baby was. Haddish had some more fun the next day by posting content from a family Six Flags trip and adding a cheeky caption: "Spent the day at Six Flags with the fam. What'd I miss?" Did Tiffany Haddish have a baby? Makeup artist Rolexis Schinsing joked about being a godmother to this baby in both a comment and an Instagram story that Haddish re-posted. "I finally get to tell everyone about my godchild!! 🤣," she wrote alongside Lee and Haddish's post. Lee, vice mayor of Stockton, California and CEO of the entertainment website Hollywood Unlocked, also shared a photo of Haddish holding the baby boy while visiting a local high school cheer squad practice. However, the little one seems to be Major, the 6-month-old grandson of Lee's cousin, Natasha "Tasha" Brown. In the post, Lee gave a "shoutout to my commissioner Natasha Brown ... for inspiring the young ladies of the South Stockton Vikings cheer squad and giving them the chance to meet Tiffany." USA TODAY has reached out to Haddish's representatives for comment. Haddish, who is currently on her Funny and Fearless Tour, is typically open about her private life, including her fertility struggles and dating updates. In a May appearance on "Late Night with Seth Meyers," she said she was still dating a "roster" of people. She has also spoken about the effect that endometriosis has had on her body, including pain that's allegedly so strong she'd faint – as well as pregnancy loss. In various interviews and as recently as 2024, she told People that she had experienced eight miscarriages, calling them "devastating."

Field of Screams Marks 33 Years of Fear, Family, and Fall Tradition in Lancaster County
Lancaster, PA, Aug. 04, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — What started on a family farm in Lancaster County three decades ago has become one of the most recognized haunted attractions in the country. This fall, Field of Screams celebrates its 33rd season — delivering the same handcrafted scares that made it a fall tradition, while continuing to expand, innovate, and give back. Launched in 1993 by brothers Gene and Jim Schopf, Field of Screams began with a single haunted hayride and a big idea. Today, it features four full-scale attractions — the original Haunted Hayride, the creepy Den of Darkness, the twisted Frightmare Asylum, and the outdoor horror trail, Nocturnal Wasteland. The experience also includes Extreme Blackout, a one-night-only event known for pushing boundaries and attracting horror fans from across the country. 'It's wild to think how far we've come,' said Gene Schopf, co-founder of Field of Screams. 'We never set out to be the biggest or the best — we just wanted to build something memorable. The fact that people come back year after year, some from hours away, is incredibly humbling.' Built by Hand, Night After Night Unlike many seasonal haunts, Field of Screams builds everything on-site — from animatronics and set pieces to sound design and costumes. The result is a completely immersive, evolving experience that changes every year. Each off-season, the creative team develops new scenes, characters, and technical effects to keep things fresh. And behind the scares is a dedicated crew — many of whom have been with the attraction for over a decade — who treat the haunt as more than a job. For them, it's a shared passion that comes to life every fall. 'We have team members who started here as teenagers and now bring their own kids to help out,' said Jim Schopf. 'It's a community, not just a cast.' National Recognition, Local Spirit Field of Screams has been featured by USA Today, The Travel Channel, BuzzFeed, and other national outlets — often landing on top-ten lists for haunted attractions. But even with the media spotlight, the team behind the scenes keeps things grounded. Throughout the years, Field of Screams has partnered with local nonprofits, hosted charity nights, and supported dozens of community causes — from youth sports to local fire departments. The attraction also hosts the Zombie Fun Run, where proceeds help benefit the PA Breast Cancer Coalition. 'At the end of the day, we're part of Lancaster County,' said Gene. 'And we take a lot of pride in that.' Looking Ahead to the 2025 Season Now in its 33rd year, Field of Screams is preparing for another record-breaking season. New attractions and scenes are already in place, and the full calendar of fall events is available on the official website. From first-timers to returning fans, there's something for every level of thrill-seeker. Tickets and details for the 2025 season are available at About Field of Screams Field of Screams is a nationally recognized haunted attraction located in Mountville, Pennsylvania.
