
Watch: Twice shares 'This is For' music video teaser
July 7 (UPI) -- K-pop girl group Twice is teasing a music video for "This is For" ahead of the release of their studio album of the same name, due Friday.
In a teaser released Monday, viewers see the South Korean music artists dancing on set, wearing white tops and baggy camouflage jeans.
"She should have realized when the director said, 'Let's have fun! This is for...'" a voice says in the background, twice.
Twice includes members Momo, Sana, Nayeon, Tzuyu, Jihyo, Chaeyoung, Jeongyeon, Mina and Dahyun.
The upcoming album celebrates Twice's 10th anniversary and will be promoted with a world tour, beginning July 19 in Incheon, South Korea.
This is For marks the group's first album since 2021, when they dropped Formula of Love: O+T=<3.

Watch: Netflix releases teaser trailer for animated series 'Long Story Short'
July 9 (UPI) -- Netflix released a teaser trailer for Long Story Short, a new adult animated comedy from BoJack Horseman creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg. The teaser, released Wednesday, shows the Schwooper family having the same disputes about backseat etiquette during two road trips decades apart. "Jumping through the years, we follow the Schwooper siblings from childhood to adulthood and back again, chronicling their triumphs, disappointments, joys, and compromises," the official synopsis reads. The main cast includes Lisa Edelstein, Paul Reiser, Ben Feldman, Abbi Jacobson, Max Greenfield, Angelique Cabral and Nicole Byer, with Dave Franco and Michaela Dietz in recurring roles. Noel Bright and Steven A. Cohen serve as executive producers for Tornante Television, while Lisa Hanawalt is supervising producer. Corey Campodonico and Alex Bulkley from animation studio ShadowMachine serve as co-executive producers. Long Story Short premieres Aug. 22 on Netflix.

Watch: 'Twisted Metal' stars join Calypso's tournament in Season 2

Photo courtesy of NBC July 9 (UPI) -- Peacock is teasing the sophomore season of Twisted Metal, starring Marvel's Anthony Mackie and arriving on the streamer July 31. The teaser released Wednesday shows Mackie's John Doe facing various obstacles as he competes in a "dangerous demolition derby tournament" for the chance to have one of his wishes granted by the game's host, Calypso (Anthony Carrigan). According to an official synopsis, the second season kicks off as "John and Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz) find themselves entering the deadly Twisted Metal tournament." Joe Seanoa, Will Arnett, Mike Mitchell, Saylor Bell Curda, Patty Guggenheim, Tiana Okoye, Richard De Klerk, Michael James Shaw and Lisa Gilroy also star. The first three episodes arrive July 31. The series takes its inspiration from the PlayStation video games. 'Big Bang Theory' spinoff a go at HBO Max

File Photo by Christine Chew/UPI | License Photo July 9 (UPI) -- HBO Max announced Wednesday that it has ordered the series Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. It is the first Big Bang Theory spinoff exclusively for the streaming service. Kevin Sussman returns as Stuart, a comic book shop owner from the original show. Lauren Lapkus, Brian Posehn and John Ross Bowie also reprise their roles. In the series, Stuart breaks one of physicists Sheldon and Leonard's devices opening a multiverse. Sheldon and Leonard are the characters played by Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki on The Big Bang Theory. Stuart and girlfriend Denise (Lapkus), geologist Bert (Posehn) and quantum physicist Barry Kripke (Bowie) have to save our original reality. Along the way, the show promises to introduce multiverse incarnation of Big Bang favorites. The spinoff was first announced in 2023. Zak Penn and joins Big Bang creators Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady writing Stuart. Penn wrote the film adaptation of Ready Player One, Free Guy and two X-Men movies. He is also one of the original writers of Last Action Hero and the 2012 Marvel team-up The Avengers. Big Bang spinoff Young Sheldon aired on CBS. Its own spinoff Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage currently airs on CBS.
