According to police, the man was shot through the rear window of his vehicle. The bullets tore through his chest and exited through the driver's door.
Unable to control the car, he veered off the road and came to a stop in a ditch. He was declared dead on the scene.
Alleged mob justice in KwaGuqa
In the thrid incident, a man accused by residents of harassing the community was allegedly beaten to death near a tavern in KwaGuqa Extension 10 on June 24.
Police say they were called to the scene to find the victim badly injured. He was rushed to Witbank General Hospital but pronounced dead on arrival.

The family of Aseza Nongezi (29), who was last seen on Friday, June 27, by her landlord, is still hopeful that she will return home safely. She rented a room in Malainini, Bushbuckridge. Aseza's sister, Ndileka, said she is worried about Aseza and she hopes that they find her safe. She said she last spoke to Aseza on Friday afternoon. According to her, one of Aseza's colleagues, Ntwanano Khosa, informed her on Monday evening that Aseza was nowhere to be found. Khosa said the community and the police are looking for Aseza. 'She was last seen wearing a black jacket and a pink doek, but I cannot remember the rest of her outfit. On Friday, her landlord confirmed that she spoke to her that night before she went to bed,' Khosa said.
