Amazon Prime Video quietly adds one of the 'best horror shows ever'
Three of the four seasons of Channel Zero are now available to stream on the streaming platform, free for subscribers.
An anthology series, the storylines for all the episodes are based on popular creepypastas (horror content posted on the internet).
Channel Zero's first season was based on cartoonist and performer Kris Straub's Candle Cove.
Starring Parks and Recreation's Paul Schneider and Killing Eve's Fiona Shaw, it centres on a child psychologist who returns to his hometown to determine if his brother's disappearance is connected to a bizarre children's television series.
The second season follows a young woman and her group of friends as they visit a house of horrors, only to find themselves questioning whether it is a tourist attraction or something more sinister.
Channel Zero's third season focuses on a young woman and her schizophrenic sister who move to a city haunted by a series of disappearances and, after suspecting that they may be connected to a baffling rumour, they must work together to discover what is preying on the city's residents.
On X, viewers have hailed Channel Zero as 'one of the best horror TV shows ever made.'
Among them is @soomuu_, who wrote: 'This Series is amazing. Channel Zero No-End House #AmyForsyth#ChannelZero.'
@HorrorAddictX said: 'It's time we acknowledged Channel Zero as one of the best horror TV shows ever made.'
Echoing their sentiment, @ZacBeThompson shared: 'So pumped for #ChannelZero's return tonight. The best horror show on television. Previous seasons have had sharp writing, incredible atmosphere and chilling visuals. Butcher's Block looks no different.'

Channel Zero is not the only horror TV show to have gripped Amazon Prime Video users.
They are also 'hopelessly hooked' on Australian series Wolf Creek, which has flown under the radar since its initial release in 2016. More Trending
A spin-off of the movie of the same name, the show follows Eve (Lucy Fry), a 19-year-old American tourist in Australia, who is targeted by the crazed serial killer Mick Taylor (John Jarratt).
However, she survives his attack and embarks on a mission of revenge.
Both seasons of Wolf Creek, which initially aired on streamer Stan, are now available to binge-watch on Amazon Prime Video.
On Google, viewers have hailed the horror as 'phenomenal' but warned it was 'not for the faint-hearted.'

Linkin Park refuse to play poignant song live after Chester Bennington's death
Linkin Park have struck a poignant song from their set list in the wake of frontman Chester Bennington's death. The musician died by suicide in 2017 at the age of 41, leading to an outpouring of tributes from fans around the world. The group, known for tracks including Numb, In The End and Faint, went on an indefinite hiatus following their loss, but reformed last year with Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave Farrell and Joe Hahn returning to the fold. And so that's just too sad to play.' Shinoda founded Linkin Park in the 90s, along with Delson and Rob Bourdon, with Farrell and Hahn joining shortly after, followed by Benington. They went on to become one of the biggest rock bands of all time, with hits including One Step Closer, Crawling, Papercut and Somewhere I Belong. The Cosby Show star Malcolm-Jamal Warner dies aged 54 in 'accidental drowning'
The Cosby Show star Malcolm-Jamal Warner has died while on a family holiday. The 54-year-old actor began his career playing Theo Huxtable, the son of Bill Cosby's character Heathcliff Huxtable, on the sitcom from 1984 until 1992. The role earnt him a Emmy nomination for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series in 1986, when he was just 16-years-old. This week he was away with family in Costa Rica, where he got into trouble while swimming and drowned, a source confirmed to People. He is survived by a wife and daughter, who he had chosen to keep out of the public eye. After The Cosby Show wrapped up, Warner went on to star as Malcolm McGee in sitcom Malcolm & Eddie, which ran between 1996 and 2000, and Dr. Alex Reed in the sitcom Reed Between the Lines, in 2011 and 2015. He was also known for playing Sticky in Sons of Anarchy, Al Cowlings in The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story, and Dr. AJ Austin in The Resident. Behind the camera he was also a producer on the kids show The Magic School Bus. Two years ago, Warner spoke about the legacy of the show on which he made his name. 'Spine-chilling' horror remake with near-perfect RT rating now streaming
A horror film lauded as 'outstanding' is streaming right now on Amazon Prime Video. The Invisible Man, directed by Leigh Whannell, revitalised interest in Universal's proposed Dark Universe, which was set to bring the classic Universal Monsters back to the big screen. Following the box office flop that was The Mummy, Whannell's 2020 adaptation of The Invisible Man was widely praised by critics thanks to how it tackled themes of domestic abuse. It stars Elisabeth Moss as Cecilia Kass, a woman trapped in a violent and controlling relationship with wealthy optics engineer and businessman Adrian Griffin (Oliver Jackson-Cohen). After finally leaving, it is reported that Adrian has died by suicide. But Elisabeth is still subjected to his terror after it is revealed that he developed technology to become invisible and torment his ex. It grossed a whopping $145million (£107.7m) worldwide against a $7m (£5.2m) budget and received numerous accolades, including a Critics' Choice nomination.
