WWE cuts Tampa residency short, cancels NXT at Yuengling Center
But the schedule has now been cut to just three nights.

'WWE's NXT Live on the CW event, originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, has been canceled,' according to WrestleTix, which tracks ticket information.
The X account reports around 1,700 tickets were distributed for the canceled event. Saturday Night's Main Event and Raw are nearing sellouts, while Battleground has surpassed 6,000 tickets sold. Per the venue's website, the Yuengling Center is a 10,500-seat arena.
WWE's four-night residency in Tampa was part of a new initiative under its parent company, TKO. Last year, WWE President Nick Khan teased the concept of 'All-Star TKO Weekends,' a series of events featuring WWE and UFC in the same city. The first 'TKO Takeover' took place last month in Kansas City, MO. Over five days, the T-Mobile Center hosted events from TKO's newest property, Professional Bull Riders (PBR), a UFC Fight Night, and an episode of WWE Raw.
Tampa was going to be a WWE-exclusive TKO residency. But with ticket prices reaching into the thousands of dollars, it appears WWE and TKO may have misjudged fan demand.

WWE has yet to announce a new location for next Tuesday's NXT on The CW. However, the WWE Performance Center in Orlando appears to be the most likely option. Fans who purchased tickets for Tuesday's show should expect to receive an automatic refund within 14 to 21 days.

Nikki Garcia Reveals the 2 Hollywood Heartthrobs Who Represent Her Ideal Man: ‘They Reach for the Stars for Me' (Exclusive)
NEED TO KNOW Nikki Garcia revealed the two Hollywood stars who represent her ideal man while speaking exclusively with PEOPLE at the Netflix Summer Break event on July 17 She also shared some of the key traits she looks for in a potential partner Nikki, who recently rejoined the WWE, is single after finalizing her divorce with ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev in MayNikki Garcia may not be ready to date yet — but she knows exactly what she's looking for in a potential partner. While stepping out to the Netflix Summer Break event in Santa Monica, Calif., on Thursday, July 17, the WWE star — who was joined by fellow pro wrestler Natalya Neidhart — spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about her ideal man. Though she has been adamant lately about not being ready to date yet following her split from ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev, Nikki, 41, said she would "love a man who not only does business but has swag." "I need edge. I like a proper boy, but if he's too proper, I'm like, 'Hmm I can't do it,' " she explains. "So I want edge, I want swag, but I want someone who can run a boardroom, who can get in the gym." After Neidhart, 43, shared that Matt Damon was her celebrity ideal — "Good Will Hunting vibes. That's my guy," she says — Nikki revealed her two picks. "I've always thought more... I'm like Chris Hemsworth, like Troy-type of girl, or Channing Tatum," she says. Neidhart then chimed in, "I mean, those are great options as well. I just think the understated are great, you know, the ones that are the least assuming, right?" "I deserve that," Nikki says. "They reach for the stars for me, baby!" While chatting with PEOPLE, Nikki also revealed that she would be down to go on Love Is Blind, the popular Netflix reality show where single men and women date, fall in love and get engaged, all before meeting in person. "I have to say, I feel like Love Is Blind could be really cool because to meet people, never see them and then see who I connect with — that'd be pretty cool," she says. Neidhart agreed, telling PEOPLE, "I would second Nikki on that because you never know who's out there, and sometimes looks are deceiving, but sometimes you can't judge a book by its cover too, which is very, very important." Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Nikki finalized her divorce from dance pro Chigvintsev, 43, in May. The pair, who married in 2022 after meeting on season 25 of DWTS in 2017, share a son, Matteo, who will turn 5 on July 31. During a May episode of her podcast, The Nikki & Brie Show — which she hosts with her twin sister, Brie Garcia — Nikki gave fans an update on how things were going between her and Chigvintsev, eight months after filing for divorce. "Artem and I, right now, are in a great place. We are co-parenting so amazing, and it makes Matteo's life so amazing," she said. "And I don't want it any other way. That's why when all of this came up, it sucks because things in Matteo's world right now [are] so great because Artem and I are so on the same page and I want that." "I don't want hate towards Artem," she added. "We're in a good place right now. I hope we stay in that great place for Matteo because it makes Matteo so happy." Read the original article on People

TNA Seeking TV Rights Deal To Go Live 52 Weeks A Year
TNA Wrestling has some lofty goals for a potentially huge television deal for iMPACT. Anthem Sports President Carlos Silva recently spoke with JohnWallStreet. While discussing the current partnership between TNA and WWE, Silva revealed that Anthem is looking for a new television deal for TNA iMPACT that would see the brand go live 52 weeks a year. 'We are [regularly] being featured on every major WWE and NXT platform. PLEs as well as weekly programming on The CW and their other [broadcast] outlets like Peacock,' Carlos Silva said. 'This [has resulted in] a huge [television] audience lift for [us], along with all the social media support we get from [them]. 'A new media rights deal will help us build a more consistent fan base with larger reach. It will also provide us the opportunity to go live 52 weeks a year, and in today's world live matters [in terms of fan interest and revenues].' How much is Anthem looking to get a year for TNA iMPACT? Silva would go on to reveal that the company is currently looking for a deal within the $10 million a year range for iMPACT. 'Something in the $10mm/year range is where we [and CAA] think we should be,' Carlos Silva said. 'We're talking to [all the established] linear guys and a couple of newer platforms that need a foundational [programming] centerpiece. There are a couple of networks that look like Spike [TV] in today's world, we could be a good fit for, the same way [UFC and TNA were for that network a decade or two ago].' Finally, Silva stated that they are confident that iMPACT have a new distribution deal in place in the next two months. This would be a huge step up for the company as a majority of homes in the United States don't get AXS TV. TNA President Carlos Silva Reacts To Speculation About AJ Styles' Slammiversary Status
TNA Slammiversary will be a phenomenal event. But will AJ Styles be involved? Earlier this week, TNA President Carlos Silva announced that the promotion was adding more seats at its Slammiversary pay-per-view on Long Island this weekend. Silva made the announcement on X/Twitter and said that fans should trust him when he says it will be a 'PHENOMENAL' night. Fans immediately speculated that Silva was hinting at 'Phenomenal' AJ Styles being involved in the show. Styles has used that moniker for years, and he's arguably one of the most decorated pro wrestlers to ever work in TNA. WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard recently spoke with Silva to promote Slammiversary and asked about the Tweet in question. Was the phrasing intentional, and would he like to expand on his initial statement? Carlos Silva reacts to rumors that AJ Styles could be involved with Slammiversary 'Really nothing more than what's in the Tweet. It's going to be a phenomenal night, and yeah, there's someone, as you know, 'Phenomenal' is a big part of their walkout. We think it's going to be a phenomenal night and see how it goes, but it's exciting,' Silva said. '[AJ Styles] has been such a foundational, historical wrestler that has made TNA what it is today. And now he's such a big Superstar in WWE. So, we opened up some seats, we're going to expand the floor a little bit. We're bumping up against what we could do,' he continued. 'I think we added something like 700 seats on the floor with a small change that the operational team made. So we just wanted to get that out there and let people know it's going to be a phenomenal night.' TNA would like to return to the UBS Arena Silva went on to praise the UBS Arena for their help in making sure Slammiversary is as big as possible. Tickets are selling well, and they have opened more seats. Silva was asked if TNA is looking at larger-scale arenas for bigger events like Bound For Glory. In response, he said Slammiversary will set the tone for how the promotion books venues into 2026. 'I think as we look at all of our pay-per-views and our big shows, we have to be thinking about how Slammiversary accelerates the presence and the venues that TNA goes into. We've already been in some great cities this year; LA was a great show, we just had a great show in Pittsburgh. New York is New York, it's the greatest city,' Silva said. 'The partnership with UBS Arena, John Ledecky, the owner of the Islanders has been great to work with. 'We'd love to keep going back to UBS Arena, but like anything, that's on TNA. That's on our staff and our athletes to perform great on Sunday night,' he added. 'I think if it comes off [well] and we have the biggest show we've ever had — which I think is going to happen. We really hope that we'll be coming back to UBS Arena and other arenas like it into the fall, and certainly into 2026 as we lay out that schedule.' Our full interview with Carlos Silva will be released on Thursday. Read More: Do you think AJ Styles will be involved with Slammiversary in some way?
