University of Tripoli Signs Scientific Cooperation Agreements with Turkish Institutions

The University of Tripoli signed cooperation agreements on Thursday with Turkey's Middle East and Ankara universities to strengthen collaboration in teaching and scientific research. According to a statement published on the university's official Facebook page, the agreements cover faculty and student exchange, joint supervision of postgraduate students, and collaborative research. The deal also includes coordination to jointly apply for Erasmus scholarships funded by the European Union. The move comes as the University of Tripoli marks a milestone in its academic development. On 22 June, Libya's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that the university had been listed among the world's top 1,500 universities by the QS World University Rankings — the first Libyan institution to achieve this distinction. The QS rankings, published annually by British company Quacquarelli Symonds, evaluate universities worldwide based on various academic and research performance indicators. The system is widely used by students and academics when considering higher education opportunities. Education Tagged: University of Tripoli Middle East University Ankara University
