Texas A&M's four-star 2026 commit inks NIL deal with Adidas brand ahead of senior season

In the name, image and likeness (NIL) era of collegiate athletics, multiple Texas A&M football stars are cashing in on opportunities provided by massive companies to represent their respective brands or companies.
Even though 2026 commit Madden Williams has yet to suit up in the Maroon and White on Saturdays, he has reportedly inked a deal with Adidas ahead of his senior high school campaign. The four-star wideout from Bellflower, California, is one of six top high school football athletes to sign endorsement deals with the brand.
With Texas A&M also repping Adidas as the official sponsor of Aggies athletics, one of the program's highly-touted recruits is fitting right in as he prepares to play under the lights of Kyle Field in College Station in 2026.
Williams is not the only player capitalizing on endorsements, however. Sophomore quarterback Marcel Reed recently put pen to paper on a deal with private jet company ENG Aviation Group, and North Carolina State wide receiver transfer KC Concepcion has reportedly received $2.5 million from companies like Call of Duty, Topps and Fanatics.
The St. John Bosco High School standout ranks as the No. 39 wide receiver and No. 27 prospect in the state of California, per 247 Sports Recruiting Rankings. His route-running ability, quick release off the ball and acceleration are attributes that contributed to schools like Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State and Texas offering him to come play for their respective football programs. When it came down to it, Williams chose the Aggies and joined a stacked 2026 class that currently ranks No. 3 in the country, according to On3 Sports and 247 Sports.
During his junior year in 2025, he hauled in 50 receptions for 851 yards and 13 touchdowns, which nearly doubled his production for St. John Bosco as a sophomore. If this trend continues, Williams has the potential to become the next big Aggie star at wide receiver.

2026 4-star safety receives second prediction to land with Texas A&M
Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class already includes four-star Chace Collins, who chose the Aggies over Texas Tech earlier this month. Outside of four-star South Carolina-based safety Tamarion Watkins, four-star safety Tylan Wilson, one of the hardest hitters in the cycle out of Mississippi, has received a second prediction to land with Texas A&M, according to Rivals insider Sam Spiegelman. Wilson had been connected to Clemson during the latter half of his recruitment. Still, after his official visit to College Station, the versatile defensive back feels that Texas A&M's defense is a perfect fit for his skill set, as coach Mike Elko is well known as one of the nation's better defensive back developers. However, credit also goes to defensive coordinator Jay Bateman and defensive back coaches Jordan Peterson and Ishmael Aristide. As I've previously stated, landing safety prospects who can cover the deep parts of the field while serving as hybrid linebackers is vital, especially in SEC play, where most programs are capable of both passing and running effectively enough to counter any defensive weakness. Last season, the Aggies' safety rotation was average at best, primarily due to a lack of symmetry and the introduction of a new defensive system. If Elko and his staff land Wilson, they have achieved their goal of securing at least two safeties, barring Tamarion Watkins' decision on July 13. Standing at 6-2 and 185 pounds, Wilson is currently positioned as Rivals' 13th-ranked safety, and the 10th-ranked prospect in Mississippi. Wilson will announce his decision on July 18. Anthony Richardson talks Florida playoff chances, DJ Lagway while in Gainesville
Former Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson sees his alma mater making some noise in the 2025-26 College Football Playoffs with DJ Lagway leading the program. Richardson, a third-year starter for the Indianapolis Colts, was back in Gainesville last weekend for his Read Like a Gator initiative with the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Florida. Children aged 6 to 16 participated in a free football skills academy featuring Richardson, as well as other NFL players and a handful of Florida Gators players. While he was there to help with the community event, Richardson naturally took time to comment on the program he's followed since he was a kid in Gainesville. "I'm actually looking forward to them running the playoffs this year," Richardson said of Florida. "So, I feel like they're gonna turn it around. It only takes a matter of time and the right plays a game, so, I trust in (Napier) and I believe in him." Richardson was there for the first year of the Billy Napier era in Gainesville and can't help but feel proud of his former coach for weathering the storm and ending Year 3 with one of the hottest teams in the country. "He's always been focused on winning," he said. "Whether that's having those rough couple of years, especially the first year when I was there, we were looking forward to having something better than what we produced. But he's been sticking through it, sticking through all the fire, and last year they had a pretty good season. Anthony Richardson weighs in on DJ Lagway Like most of the college football world, Richardson is high on Florida quarterback DJ Lagway. While it's natural to support someone a generation down the line of succession, Richardson had some genuine praise for the sophomore's big arm. "He's a great player, "Richardson said of Lagway. "I like watching him ball ... I don't really bother him too much because he's already doing great things … He's young right now, but you can't really tell. He doesn't act his age at all. He's a phenomenal leader and I've never seen him really get too high or too low on himself, he's always trying to work. He's always asking me questions about how to get better and do certain things, and I always tell him, 'Man, just keep doing you and just keep working. Everything's going to take care of itself.'" Richardson also conceded that Lagway might already have as strong an arm as him. Steelers send T.J. Watt to Commanders in wild trade hypothetical
The Steelers–T.J. Watt contract woes could carry on for a while longer — but what if Pittsburgh refuses to play along and cuts their losses before an agreement is reached? That is precisely the scenario fantasized by Fox Sports' David Helman — who was tasked with finding the best landing spots for each of the NFL minicamp holdouts.
