Judy Greer Jokes That Her Laugh-Filled Reunion with Jennifer Garner Got Them in Trouble on 'The Last Thing He Told Me' Set (Exclusive)
The former 13 Going on 30 costars were spotted filming The Last Thing He Told Me season 2 in Paris
Greer tells PEOPLE, "There were definitely times where we had to self-separate in order to get through a scene"Judy Greer is here for a good time with longtime pal Jennifer Garner!
Over two decades after sharing the screen in 13 Going on 30, the actress, 49, recently reunited in front of the cameras with her former costar on the set of The Last Thing He Told Me.
In late March, Greer was photographed hugging Garner, 53, as the two filmed a scene in Paris for the second season of the Apple TV+ thriller, which was adapted from Laura Dave's 2021 hit novel and stars the latter as a woman who forms an unexpected relationship with her stepdaughter while searching for her missing husband.
While reflecting on their reunion, Greer tells PEOPLE, "Well, we probably got in a lot of trouble on set for talking too much and laughing too much and not being focused. There were definitely times where we had to self-separate in order to get through a scene."

"It was really fun. It's really fun to get paid to hang out with people you love," the actress continues, explaining "that is something I feel like I worked a really long time to be able to do and we had a really good time doing it."
On the series, which was renewed for a second season in March 2024, Greer "will recur in an undisclosed role," according to Deadline, which reported in October that she'll be joining Garner as well as returning cast members Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Angourie Rice and David Morse, who will reprise their roles from season 1.
At the time of the renewal, Garner said in a statement, "I'm thrilled to get to tell more of Hannah's story — I couldn't have said yes more quickly to season two! These characters and their story mean so much to me, as I know they do to the many who have championed our show; we're excited to give audiences even more with this next chapter."
"The show's really great and obviously, she is the best," Greer gushes to PEOPLE about Garner. "She actually has superpowers I think."

While details about the second installment have not been disclosed, Greer can be seen in the new sports dramedy, Stick, which is led by Owen Wilson, who plays a washed up pro named Pryce Cahill who finds a second shot with the sport after betting his future on coaching a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom. Greer costars as his cautiously supportive ex-wife, Amber-Linn.
For Greer, it was an opportunity to work with another Wilson brother after previously sharing the screen with Luke in 2016's All We Had and Measure of a Man in 2018.
Reflecting on working with both stars, the actress says her experiences on set with them were "very different," while noting that "also all the jobs were very different and the times of my life were really different."
"But it's funny, I would love to see Luke again. I'm sure I will," Greer says, telling her costar, Owen, "you guys have really different energies to me."

Jennifer Aniston to star in adaptation of Jennette McCurdy's memoir ‘I'm Glad My Mom Died'
Jennifer Aniston will star in the series adaptation of Jennette McCurdy's bestselling memoir, 'I'm Glad My Mom Died.' The 10-episode Apple TV+ dramedy 'will center on the codependent relationship between an 18-year-old actress in a hit kid's show and her narcissistic mother who relishes in her identity as 'a starlet's mother,'' per the logline. Aniston will play the mother. McCurdy, who starred in Nickelodeon's 'iCarly' and 'Sam & Cat,' is writing, executive producing and showrunning the Apple TV+ series with Ari Katcher, best known for 'Ramy.' Jennifer Aniston to star in 'I'm Glad My Mom Died' show based on Jennette McCurdy's memoir
Jennifer Aniston is set to star in a series based on Jennette McCurdy's best-selling book "I'm Glad My Mom Died." The "Morning Show" star will continue her relationship with Apple TV+ on a new 10-episode show based on the "iCarly" actress' No. 1 New York Times bestselling memoir. "The dramedy will center on the codependent relationship between an 18-year-old actress in a hit kids show and her narcissistic mother who relishes in her identity as 'a starlet's mother,' Apple says in its announcement. (Aniston, 56, will play the mom). McCurdy's memoir, published by Simon & Schuster in August 2022, is one of the buzziest celebrity books in recent memory, with its eye-catching title and earnest reflections on child stardom. Celebrities tell all about aging, marriage and Beyoncé in these 10 bingeable memoirs McCurdy costarred on "iCarly," the former Nickelodeon hit, with Miranda Cosgrove. The book used dark humor to explore the traumas of early fame in an industry she never wanted to join. It spent over 80 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list. How Jennette McCurdy escaped her narcissistic mother's 'excruciating' abuse It was all for her "narcissistic" mother, Debbie, who, before dying of breast cancer in 2013, allegedly steered her daughter into compromising situations. Instead of detailing love and support, McCurdy chronicled forms of abuse including claims that her mother conditioned her into eating disorders and administered breast and genital examinations – allegedly to check for cancerous lumps – until she was 16. Aniston will star opposite Reese Witherspoon on season 4 of Apple TV+ drama "The Morning Show," following the rollercoaster lives of network TV news anchors, which returns Sept. 17. Fans grow worried for Tim McGraw after he shares photo of himself and Faith Hill
On Tuesday, July 1, Tim McGraw shared a life update on Instagram. Alongside a photo of the country singer and his wife Faith Hill, who no longer has a presence on Instagram, the longtime couple revealed that they were spending time in Copenhagen, Denmark, for a special reason. 'Hangin with my baby in Copenhagen to see Audrey McGraw on tour with the fabulous Brandi Carlile,' McGraw captioned the photo of himself resting his hands on a cane outside at a table as Hill rested her head on his shoulder. Fans took notice of the cane and shared their worries for McGraw in the comment section. 'Why the cane? Are you OK?' one commenter asked. 'Beautiful photo. Why do you have a cane? Are you ok,' another added. The photo comes a few days after McGraw was forced to step back from a live performance due to ongoing health issues. According to Country Living, McGraw, 58, returned to the stage on May 31 after taking nearly an entire year off from performing to deal with and 'recover from a series of ailments and subsequent complications.' His May 31 show at the Music City Rodeo was the beginning of what was supposed to be the start of several rodeo performances over the next several months, Country Living reported. However, on June 23, it was announced that he would not be able to perform at the Colorado State and Professional Bull Riders 'Last Cowboy Standing' event on July 21 due to back surgery, per Country Living. Earlier this year, Deadline reported that McGraw left his upcoming Netflix series because of an upcoming back surgery after he had orthopedic surgery on both of his knees due to compensating for his back pain in August 2024. According to Deadline, the surgery would require significant recovery time. McGraw hasn't yet shared a personal statement regarding his health.
