Rosé's Solo Smash Tops BTS's Longest-Charting Song
Rosé and Bruno Mars's 'Apt.' becomes the longest-charting song by any K-pop musician on Billboard's ... More Digital Song Sales chart, logging 35 weeks. Rosé's single 'Apt.' became an instant sensation the moment it arrived. In the months since its release, Americans have continued consuming it in every way possible, whether by streaming the track, hearing it on the radio, or purchasing the tune outright.
The Blackpink singer's collaboration with Bruno Mars has been a winner throughout its entire lifespan in the United States. Lately, 'Apt.' has been tying, and then breaking, various longevity records, and it has just managed to shatter another one this week as it remains a bestselling cut in the U.S.
"Apt." Extends Its Record-Setting Run
'Apt.' lives on the Digital Song Sales chart once again, collecting a thirty-fifth stay on Billboard's ranking of the bestselling tunes on platforms like iTunes and Amazon. This time around, the multilingual collaboration dips one space to No. 21, thanks to selling another 1,900 copies, according to Luminate.
'Apt.' now stands as the longest-charting track by any K-pop musician on the Digital Song Sales list.
"Apt." Surpasses BTS's "Dynamite"
Just a few days ago, 'Apt.' matched 'Dynamite' by BTS for this honor. The South Korean septet reset the bar when the poppy tune held its place on the ranking for 34 frames, beginning in September 2020. That record held for almost half a decade, but now it has been beaten.
Just One Week at No. 1
Amazingly, 'Apt.' has only spent one week at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart. The track is one of three that Rosé has pushed to the tally under her own name. In 2021, she reached the list with both 'On the Ground' and 'Gone,' which peaked at Nos. 10 and 15, respectively, and only managed a single turn on the roster.
'Apt.' Sells, Streams and Is Still a Radio Hit
'Apt.' continues to live on not only the Digital Song Sales chart, but also the Streaming Songs and Radio Songs rankings. Those three forms of consumption feed into where a tune lands on the Hot 100, where Rosé and Mars can currently be found at No. 25, after previously climbing all the way to No. 3 in the 35 frames the track has spent on that tally — another record among K-pop stars.

13 Absolutely Baffling Photos From This Week That Will Make You Say, "What Am I Even Looking At?"
Hello again, and welcome to our roundup of the most confusing photos we found on Reddit this week. Check out last week's if you missed it — and let's get right into it! this a top-down view or is the person looking up? The person who took the photo is actually at the base of the stairs, looking up — you can tell by the railings. did this dog's body go? It is most definitely there! The foreground is a curb, and the photo was taken from a lower position than the dog, so its body is just hiding behind its head! is a car here. Can you tell where? It is on the left side and is making a perfect mirror reflection off the background. The two black things above the tire are the handles. called this "a bouquet of toe beans" and it is confusing and a bit unsettling. Can you decipher it? The dog has all four of its paws just hanging off the couch. Its black toenails are what make this photo even more trippy, but it is just four dog legs, each with five paw pads. Is this a tarantuala/bird hybrid? Nah, those are babies, and what looks like a tarantula is actually each one of their wings folded up beside them. one creates all sorts of confusion. Are you confused? Some people want to know why the middle person appears to be pulling their hair out (she's just pulling out a hair tie). And some people think the last photo is someone, uh, spreading their cheeks, but it is just a back massage. Lastly, people are also wondering why "pregnancy" appears to be a service, lol. this a tiny what is going on here? The pizza is normal-sized, just on the floor, and the person is standing up. They are holding the key up in front of them to make the pizza look even smaller. A depth perception trick! is this person sitting on? Just a big bean bag that happens to resemble the color of sweatpants! this person disappearing? Nope! Their hat just matches the sun on the ground in the background perfectly, and the rest of their body is in the shade. this dough indented or popping out? It looks like it is popping out, but it is actually indented. that couple is holding hands. But, what is that in the background? It is someone's leg crossed over their other leg with their arm resting on top. Get your mind out of the gutter! bride does not have one arm that is larger than the other. Why does it look like it, though? Her arm is blending in with the person behind her who is tending to the back of her dress. finally, what is going on with this ghost cat? This is not the reflection of a cat; it is a reflection of the cabinets in the back. Which one of these photos stumped you the most? Let us know in the comments!

Vera Wang Celebrates Her 76th Birthday in the Shortest, Backless Little Black Dress
Vera Wang celebrated her 76th birthday in a backless little black dress. She threw a dinner with her family and friends at Le Relais Plaza hotel in Paris, France. The soirée included a seafood dinner, cocktails, and a Brat-green-colored black dress, Parisian lights, cocktail in hand—now Vera Wang knows how to throw a birthday party. The fashion icon, who was born on June 27, 1949, rang in the big seven-six with an elegant soirée in the City of Love. Wang's 76th trip around the sun called for a go big or go home evening, and she delivered, starting with her ensemble, of course. The designer looked radiant in a daring, itty-bitty black satin minidress that featured a low scoop neckline and completely open back. She paired the piece with matching knee-high boots and appeared to forego all jewelry, instead accenting with gold sequins on her arm that wrote out '76.' As for beauty, Wang wore dewy makeup, complete with a sheer rep lip, bronzy smoky eye, and bright highlighter. She styled her luscious, long black locks down and pin-straight with a middle part. Wang threw her big fête at Le Relais Plaza hotel. She organized a sophisticated dinner with a seafood menu for her family and friends. And, because no birthday is complete without a cake, she blew the candles out on a Brat-green colored gateau, as the French would say. The dessert was decorated with a brown card that read "Happy Birthday Vera," as well as a glittery silver 76. Wang documented it all on her Instagram with several slideshows, including a collection of snaps of her gifts, including bouquets of flowers, a box of macarons, sunglasses, chocolate, caviar, teddy bear keychains, and more. "Just celebrating my 75 9/10 - 76th birthday NEW YORK TIME with my Parisian crew and a few others who have been lifelong besties ! Thank you all for this special special night! 🖤🇫🇷🎂," she captioned a slideshow of herself walking through the hotel. Read the original article on InStyle
