WWE SummerSlam plans in chaos as things 'don't look good' for top star
Just weeks after Liv Morgan was forced on the shelf in a heartbreaking moment, Saturday Night's Main Event saw another devastating injury with major implications for the company's biggest storylines.
Over the weekend, Seth Rollins landed badly on his knee – which he's had issues with in the past – and hobbled to the corner.
After talking to referee Jessika Carr and a member of WWE's medical staff, the bout was cut short and LA Knight picked up a quick win, with reports claiming they 'called an audible' by changing the planned result on the fly.
On Sunday night, after the all-women's Evolution event, boss Paul 'Triple H' Levesque gave a concerning a update on Rollins' immediate future.
'Tomorrow night on Raw, we're gonna head down a new path, and I'm sure somebody here will ask about Seth. I'll just say right now, little bit inconclusive,' he said in a press conference. 'Doesn't look good.'
There had been reports that Rollins was seen backstage at Evolution, walking on crutches with a protective boot.
Levesque noted the current Money In The Bank contract holder was at Evolution to support his wife Becky Lynch as she defended the Women's Intercontinental Championship against Lyra Valkyria and Bayley.
'He came here tonight, he was not going to miss his wife's performance,' he added.
'He's here – or, was here. He'll be in Birmingham[, Alabama] tomorrow with Dr. Dugas. We'll get [an] MRI and hope for the best, see where we can go with that.'
Although the SummerSlam card hasn't been revealed publicly yet, Rollins was expected to play a key role as his group – which includes Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman – has been heavily involves in several big rivalries.
Levesque hinted at changing plans, as he confirmed a Gauntlet Match for tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw.
After his comments about Rollins, he said: 'In order to see where we go from there, tomorrow there will be a Gauntlet Match on Raw, maybe one of the biggest gauntlet matches we've ever done, I think.'
He announced that Bron will be in the bout along with Knight, Penta, CM Punk and Jey Uso 'to determine who will go to SummerSlam to face GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship'.
The legendary wrestler teased: 'So, big night!'
Thus far, only a handful of matches have been announced for the historic first ever two-night SummerSlam on August 2 and 3. More Trending

Hulk Hogan felt 'embarrassed' and 'weak' days before WWE star's death
Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24 at the age of 71, and his friend Eric Bischoff has since shared details of his last-ever conversation with the WWE star Hulk Hogan felt "weak" and "embarrassed" shortly before he passed away, a friend has shared. The wrestling icon died from a heart attack on 24 July, aged 71, and his close mate Eric Bischoff has now revealed details of his final meeting with Hogan, who was 'embarrassed' to be seen by his pal. Speaking on the 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff podcast, he said: "I could tell he was weak. He sounded tired. [Hogan] said, 'I really want to see you, but I'm kind of embarrassed for you to see me this way because I've been pretty sick.' When I look at you, I don't see the same thing you see when you look in the mirror, so f*** that, I'll be down Monday." Despite his health battles, Hogan's personality still shone through in their chats. Eric shared: "It was work for him to have a conversation, but he was the same guy." Earlier this week, Brooke Hogan took to social media to pay tribute to her dad and reflect on their turbulent relationship. The 37-year-old star wrote on Instagram: "When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us. "I know he's at peace now, out of pain, and in a place as beautiful as he imagined. He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope. Like meeting God was the greatest championship he'd ever have." The upload showed a sweet reel of images of the pair with Stevie Nicks' Crystal playing over the top. Brooke also used her post to "clear a few things up" regarding their estrangement. The reality star wrote: "It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand. "My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business. I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support. I begged him to rest, to take care of himself." Brooke and her spouse, Steven Olesky, had actually relocated nearer to the wrestling legend as he struggled with health issues. She explained: "We had been through almost 25 surgeries together, and then all of a sudden he didn't want me at started getting covered in a thick veil. It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn't get through. (sic)". The post comes just months after Brooke revealed that she was estranged from her father, as well as her mother Linda. On March 26, Brooke's mum Linda shared a heartfelt Instagram story that revealed her daughter cutting ties with her eight years before. She claimed that ex-husband Hulk caused the family feud, however Brooke hit back and revealed more about the family drama. "I have completely separate reasons for going no contact with each of my parents. No contact with my Mom has nothing to do with my Dad, and no contact with my Father has nothing to do with my Mother," she wrote.

How former WWE star Torrie Wilson stays fit and sexy at 50 thanks to one simple secret
Former WWE star and Playboy cover girl Torrie Wilson is looking and feeling better than ever just days after celebrating her 50th birthday. The blonde bombshell, who was one of wrestling's biggest sex symbols in the 2000s, said that she's embracing her age with complete confidence. 'I just want to continue being the most fabulous version of myself and that obviously changes over time, but I'm still focused on the glam, the strength, the sexiness, and just living life to the fullest,' she told Torrie says that the secret to her flawless physique is strength training, which has been part of her fitness routine for decades. 'I've always been a weightlifter and I love working out, but I've had to change some of my workouts because things pop up as you get older,' she said. 'I've seen recently where some of my friends that are getting older, they have these injuries and they're like kind of just giving up on working out because they can't do what they used to do, and and I'm like, "Dude, you can't just stop!" You've gotta evolve.' Torrie tries to work out five or six days a week, with lunges and leg presses being her go-to exercises in the gym. 'I love lifting heavy weights because as we get older we love muscle mass at a rapid rate, and to me, when you're frail, you're old, so I'm just building muscle for the next decades,' she explained. The former fitness model says she isn't 'super restrictive' when it comes to her diet, and prefers to just focus on eating healthy and organic foods without overthinking it. 'When I was in high school I was anorexic and then bulimic for a short time, so I don't want anything to do with anything that's too restrictive,' she stressed. 'I basically just listen to my body and try to eat healthy instead of focusing on calories and all of that,' she continued. 'The biggest thing I focus on is just trying to get enough protein in the day.' Fans can get a look at Torrie's gym results and a lot more on her Passes page. The WWE Hall of Famer recently joined the subscription-based app, which has been billed as a PG-rated alternative to OnlyFans. Torrie tries to work out five or six days a week, with lunges and leg presses being her go-to exercises in the gym 'What I love about Passes is that it gives me a chance to get to know my subscribers or fans better than on social media, where you have so much noise coming at you,' she said. 'I've had people come up to me and say, "You'd make so much money on OnlyFans!" But I don't wanna do anything nude and I feel like people expect [OnlyFans] to go there,' she continued. 'I love that Passes is a cleaner platform so people aren't gonna come on there expecting [nudity],' she added. Torrie started out in wrestling in WCW, before joining to WWE in 2001 after the company bought out both WCW and ECW. During her time at WWE, she become one of wrestling's biggest sex symbols and covered FHM magazine, as well as Playboy magazine twice. For her second Playboy cover, she teamed up with fellow WWE vixen Sable, who she was in a memorable on-screen feud with. Wrestling fans will also remember Wilson's iconic feud with Dawn Marie, which involved her real-life father Al playing himself on the show. The 50-year-old shocked fans with her ageless appearance after returning to WWE screens for an appearance at the Evolution PPV (pictured July 13) She also made several appearances on Project Runway and was a contestant on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Wilson was officially inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2019. She recently returned to WWE for a brief cameo at the all-female Evolution PPV in Atlanta. Viewers were blown away after seeing the bombshell back on screen, with one commenting, 'Everyone says Sofia Vergara hasn't aged, have you seen Torrie Wilson?!' Another wrote, 'One of the hottest women to ever walk into the WWE. Good to see her back.'

Hulk Hogan felt 'embarrassed' at how fragile he'd become in his final weeks, WWE icon's friend reveals
Eric Bischoff, the boss of WCW who managed to convince Hulk Hogan to betray the WWE, shared an insight into the wresting icon's condition after his passing at age 71. Hogan was rushed to a hospital after suffering from cardiac arrest at his home in Florida last week. Speaking to the '83 Weeks' podcast, Bischoff says he spoke to Hogan weeks before his passing and revealed that the 'Hulkster' did not sound well. 'I could tell he was weak, he sounded tired,' Bischoff said, 'but he still had that "What are we going to do next?" kind of underlying current of energy in his voice, even though he sounded tired, sounded weak. 'He still had that, "What's going on with Real American Freestyle? Where we at?" Checking up on me to make sure I'm on top of my s–t.' Bischoff, 70, managed to capture lightning in a bottle when Hogan turned heel in the WCW and led the 'nWo' stable which took wrestling by storm. The former promoter and WWE Hall of Famer said he called Hogan after the wrestler's son, Nick, asked Bischoff to check up on him after being released from the hospital. Bischoff offered to visit Hogan - born Terry Bollea - in Florida, but the 71-year-old icon had some concerns. 'He goes, 'Man, I really want to see you, but I'm kind of embarrassed for you to see me this way because I've been pretty sick,'' Bischoff recalled. 'I said, "Hulk, when I look at you, I don't see the same thing that you see when you look in the mirror. So f–k that, I'll be down Monday."' Bischoff did indeed end up visiting Hogan for about an hour, with discussions about the Real American Freestyle professional wrestling promotion they were trying to set up together. 'All he wanted to talk about as business, but in a fun, energetic way even though he was struggling — it was just a little more effort than it should have been for him to talk at that time because of his larynx and all that stuff got moved around during surgery, so it was work for him to have a conversation. ' Bischoff said. 'He was the same guy.' By Hogan's side was a nurse who was 'anxious' as she tended to the wrestler - lifting his legs and giving him oxygen. Bischoff eventually left to stop being an 'obstacle' and a 'burden', saying they'd try to line Hogan up for some interviews. But Bischoff admitted that was a false hope, but he wanted to give Hogan something to look forward to. 'He said, 'Brother, I can't wait. I may not be able to do anything on camera for a couple of weeks, but I'll be good on the phone. You can set some stuff up for me on the phone,'' Bischoff said. 'He was so anxious to get back to work.'
