After coming up just one win short of the Super Bowl last season, the Buffalo Bills are once again a top-tier contender entering the 2025 season. That has been the story for the franchise in recent years.
Josh Allen and company have had multiple opportunities to get over the hump and into the big game. They simply have been unable to do it.
This season, the roster is good enough once again. With Allen leading the way, the Bills are always going to be a team to watch. However, there are questions that need to be answered about Buffalo for the team to win it all.

Bleacher Report analyst Moe Moton took a look at the biggest flaw for top contenders. When it came to Buffalo, there is one glaring question that needs to be answered.
He believes that a lack of star power around Allen in big moments is the team's biggest flaw.
"The Bills shouldn't have to rely on Allen having an MVP year to reach the NFL mountaintop," Moton wrote. "If two-time Pro Bowl running back James Cook holds out in the summer after reporting to mandatory minicamp, Allen may not have the playmakers around him to get this team over the hump."
Moton also continued on to reveal one player who could help fix the flaw. He thinks second-year wide receiver Keon Coleman is that guy.
"If the second-year wideout can build on a rookie campaign in which he averaged 19.2 yards per catch, they may have the firepower to break through for a Super Bowl appearance," he wrote.

Entering the NFL offseason, the Bills were expected to have an aggressive approach. They made a few moves, but they didn't swing big.
Joey Bosa was the biggest offseason addition. While he's more than capable of being an elite pass rusher, there are always concerns about injuries with him. Offensively, Buffalo didn't do much to improve around Allen.
It will be interesting to see if the tweaks the Bills made to the roster are enough. They were close to knocking off Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs last season. Perhaps they can finally get the job done in 2025.

Super Bowl winner Bryan Braman has died at the age of 38 having been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer in February. All was quiet on the Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft front for a little while. It only took a Kraft appearance on a podcast hosted by New England Patriots greats Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman to pour gasoline on a fire that looked to be on the verge of going out. When appearing on Dudes on Dudes, the Patriots' owner noted that he took a "big risk" in hiring Belichick considering it cost the team a first-round draft pick for a coach who "won a little over 40 percent of his games in 1999." That obviously didn't sit right with the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach, who issued a response via ESPN's Don Van Natta Jr. "As I told Robert multiple times through the years, I took a big risk by taking the New England Patriots head coaching job," Belichick said. "I already had an opportunity to be the Head Coach of the New York Jets, but the ownership situation was unstable." Belichick continued, "I had been warned by multiple previous Patriots' coaches, as well as other members of other NFL organizations and the media, that the New England job was going to come with many internal obstacles. I made it clear that we would have to change the way the team was managed to regain the previously attained success." Kraft moved on from Belichick in January 2024 after the Patriots suffered back-to-back losing seasons, including a 4-13 finish in 2023. The ending to a 24-year working relationship filled with as much success as Kraft and Belichick experienced wasn't ideal. However, both sides initially seemed to be moving in their own direction. Belichick is now serving as the head coach for the North Carolina Tar Heels, and Kraft has new hope for the future in New England after hiring Mike Vrabel as the new head coach.
